The 12 Days of Christmas

I'm having game night with the kids, so I thought I'd take a quick second to post another rerun tonight. Enjoy!

Now, for your listening pleasure, a Christmas song ---

On the first day of Christmas, my children gave to me...
A lovely drawing of me.

On the second day of Christmas, my children gave to me...
Two dirty bathrooms,
and a lovely drawing of me.

On the third day of Christmas, my children gave to me...
Three snotty noses,
Two dirty bathrooms,
and a lovely drawing of me.

On the fourth day of Christmas, my children gave to me...
Four dirty diapers,
Three snotty noses,
Two dirty bathrooms,
and a lovely drawing of me.

On the fifth day of Christmas, my children gave to me...
FIVE PURPLE THINGS,
Four poopy diapers,
Three snotty noses,
Two dirty bathrooms,
and a lovely drawing of me.

On the sixth day of Christmas, my children gave to me...
Six whiny voices,
FIVE PURPLE THINGS,

and a lovely drawing of me.

SSO: Any suggestions for kids waterproof boots (ages 4 and 5)? We're from FL and will taking our first ski trip. Thanks for the help!

Is it sad that I remember this one from last year? And that I think it's just as funny this year? Enjoy your Monopoly and pizza!

Oh I JUST LOVE re-runs! Thanks for the mini walk down memory lane. I also remember that post from last year (gee you have been at this for a little bit then!) and loved it just as much this year!

Keep up the great work and I hope you had fun at game night. That would be a nice post to tell us HOW your kids (and adults) handle losing!

Have a great night and I hope you don't get more snow like we are. Ugh - talk about REPEATS - we had this crazy weather pattern last year!

Oh, yeah, do what Donna suggests, with all the kids singing it.

COOL! Sounds like my house, except divide it by 3 and you get the idea. Don't know how you do it with 6. I'm barely sane with 2. Take care of that cold. Hope you whipped them at Monopoly last night.

Only 11 loads of laundry? You must be making headway on that backlog. Congratulations! lol

Only 11 loads of laundry? You must have been caught up recently?

My little helpers were in the attic by themselves and dumped all the off season clothes on the dusty floor. And, since the cat got up there unnoticed and trapped, she peed on the clothes. Great, 20 extra loads of laundry this week. On the up side, I found the maternity clothes finally and washed them first so I would have stuff to wear.

Your picture resembles Plankton on Spongebob. Are your kids trying to tell you something? I bet I have 4 loads of mismatched socks. How does it happen?

Your 10 dirty dishes looks quite a lot like some of my dishes except a different color. Your Tupperware lady loves you ;) lol

I love it! Got a question for you (maybe SSO?) -- what's a typical dinner for your family? I'm getting bored again of my usuals and I'd love to know some of the meals you feed your crew. Thanks!
