Money-Saving Tip #87

People always ask me, "How can you afford to have 6 kids, especially in this economy?" I'm frequently asked for money-saving tips. Oftentimes, my kids come up with brilliant cash-saving ideas that I never would have thought of on my own. For example, yesterday, Brooklyn showed me that the arm rest padding from her car seat can double as slippers. Because of her ingenuity, I just saved $15-$20 on slippers for Brooklyn!

Especially since she can wear them for the next 20, 30, 60 years (or until they are worn down) as she won't probably out grow them ;-)

There is still lots of room for her feet, I guess they will still fit when she's 20!! Brooklyn is just so adorable!

Well, given there is still so much room for her feet, she just saved you the cost for shoes for the next, uh, 15 years... Good girl!

As to the question how you can afford six kids esp. in this economy -- what a question to ask... You didn't get all of them when the economy was like this, didn't you? And now what, sell some of them?

Silly question.

Anyway, how are things going for your family these days, have things straightened out?

So long,
Corinna
