Fore!

Last night, Austin came to the conclusion we needed a miniature golf course at our house because, you know, doesn't everyone have 18 holes in their garage?

Savannah helping Clayton putt with a baseball bat. What can I say, they're resourceful.

Clay yells, "Woo Hoo! I hit it!" while the girls wait for their turn.

The 4 hole golf course

You have to get it through the mouth here.

The ball drops into a bucket on this last hole.
Think they could build an addition on my house?

Oh yeah, if you have any kind of fashion sense at all, please, please, PLEASE check out my other blog because I really need some help! Click HERE.

How ingenious!! That's really great. Kids have such imaginations. At least they didn't build it in the kitchen..lol. Blessings.

Very resourceful children you have there Dawn. Not stuck in front of the T.V. playing a video game. (Or stuck in front of the computer blogging - like you and me?)

I'm laughing at all the removed car seats sitting happily in the background. Reminds me of my garage.

Have you ever watched Phineas and Ferb? it's a cartoon on the Disney show. Your kids remind me of those boys.

Hope they didn't use any wood that Joe had planned for something? Gotta give them credit tho, they sure are resourceful! The girls actually looked as tho they were waiting for their turn too! (no fighting or pushing, I'm impressed!)

I LOVE how resourceful AND creative your children are!

Love the golf course!

Re the fashion stuff: I would say that beautiful shawl and whichever black dress makes you feel happiest when you put it on. Steam the creases out of the shawl first, though, and pack it wound round something so it won't re-wrinkle.

(Forgive me for adding), my own book was #1 under Fashion on Amazon for awhile last year, and I was like, oooh, noo, don't let anyone find out the truth! Me? Fashionable? But if you want to learn to knit your own lace shawl to match whatever color dress you want, hey, now, that I can help with.

SWEET! I need a carpenter to help out with some projects here on The Avenue. I'll pick them up next Friday night and send them home Sunday afternoon.

My aunt and uncle actually spent about $18000 to put a mini-golf course in their backyard... So Austin isn't as crazy as you may think. :)

Now that's something I think my kids would have too much fun with. The only problem is we try to avoid letting my youngest anywhere near a weapon such as a bat.

That's pretty cool. Did Austin build that all by himself?

And...
is Lexi playing in roller blades?

Did Austin build that? Here is his future employment: mini-golf course designer ... that or he could freelance and offer his services to thousands of parents finding ways to entertain their kids.

Now I need to try and make one. Haha.

Now THAT is cool. I love the mouth and face they built. I don't remember being that creative as a kid. I think you've got some special ones there, Dawn! Super cool!

The mini golf course is awesome! Your kids are so creative. Now for the fashion...I'm a shopper and I love fashion. However I know nothing about the event you are invited to. If it were me, I'd head to Nordstrom or Von Maur, both nice stores in your area, and ask for some help. The key to looking great is great fitting clothing and no wrinkles. They'll help you pick out things that will fit you well and look great on you and I'd have the hotel send the stuff out to be steamed when I arrived. You'll look smashing and feel so comfortable.

Wait....Austin made this? Just because he wanted to?

Man, that boy is AWESOME.

BRILLIANT!!! my kids would have loved to come play with yours when they were younger... but my son is the one who always (still does) takes everything apart to see how it is made and how it works!
WAY TO GO AUSTIN!

You ask if he could build an addition to your house? Looks like he can pretty much build whatever he sets his mind to. 2 thumbs up, Austin!

Great job! My kids never build anything that looks like..well..anything.

Btw, what was the weather like when they were playing? I noticed that 3 of them had on long sleeves and shorts and one is bare foot. Definately can't use their attire as a way to guess the temperature lol.

That is so awesome. Go Austin!

I'm way more jealous than I should be-- I'll have to put that on my list of things to build when the kids are a little older.
