"AFTER"

Tada! I still need to do a little patching and painting, but THIS doesn't look like a house with six kids living in it, does it?

WOW! That looks fantastic. You did an incredible job. I hope it stays that way for more than 5 minutes.

Oh my. I didn't know you were magic!! It definitely doesn't look like 6 kids could live there. Wow, wow, wow! Can you wiggle your nose or whatever you do and direct some of that amazement in my direction????

How long did it take? It looks amazing!

It's rare when I see the kids floors. Once the mess upsets me, and I get very loud, Hubby realises I am upset. Then he gets on their case to clean when I am at work the next weekend.

Wow! Amazing. My boys room is resembling the "before" pictures right now!

Sunday Sound Out Question: I must have missed something. I thought you were not moving b/c of the housing market being so bad and the loan and what it would sell for didn't match up? Did that change and I missed that post?

Wow! Great job! I envy you for the energy you are putting into this!

So, ever considered becoming a self-employed de-clutterer and offering this as a service to people? I'm sure, there'd be people who'd be more than willing to pay for somebody to help them de-clutter and re-organise their houses!

So long,
Corinna

It looks great! But how long will the boys keep it looking that way?

When I was growing older (still haven't grown up), we had to have our rooms like the "after" pictures every Saturday or we got NO priviledges; no tv, no going to a friend's house, no playing outside, nothing. And, if Mom had to help, things got thrown away, not put away.

WOW!!!! Amazing! You could hire yourself out for big bucks doing that for other people. WOW!!!! What did you do with the IKEA shelving unit?

WOW! You should be very proud of yourself! The room looks great!

Eh... Looks about the same. Personally, I prefer the BEFORE pics. But that's just me.

Wait a minute! I just realized something. You have THREE boys. Where does boy #3 sleep? And did you buy new comforters and valances? And hang them yourself? I wouldn't have the first idea how to do that. Very impressive!!!

Excuse my french, but Holy Crap!! I am floored, and if I was in the boys room I would actually hit it now ;) Bravo Dawn! You are awesome!

Wow, can you come and work that kind of magic at my house too please.

That's amazing! Good job. I mean, my room hasn't looked that clean since I moved in...

I don't want to be a downer or anything, but how long do you think that will last? I've discovered when I clean the kids' room like that, it lasts till they've been home for about 4 seconds. Just sayin'.....

I was only joking about selling your kids!!!

Ditto to what Mayberry Mom said. Did I miss something? I even went back and re-read all the posts after you told us the market was crud.

Wow ! Really a Fan*TAS*Tic Job, Dawn!!!
You really could get Big Bucks for this!

But I have to say I was thinking the same as MayberryMom & I'm pretty sure I never miss a post! So was really surprised by your FB to see that a move is back on ~ but very happy to for you all

You go,girl, you packing machine you! AWESOME! And, it's a cute room! :)

Question - are you getting the house ready to rent out? I know you said you couldn't sell it do to market conditions. Hopefully you'll be able to rent it out and use that rent to pay for your new digs. Thinking and praying for your family as you go through another huge "bump" in the road! :)

Christy said...

Please tell me you rented a dumpster? It would be easier!

wow! what a transformation! Glad you showed a pic of the closet or we might have thought you just shoved it all in there like the kids do!
