Cute!
Lexi was very funny - I lost both my front teeth when I was 5 & we sang that song in our Christmas concert at school. Yup, I was the coolest kid in kindergarden...and my grama even gave me a hoola hoop for Christmas.
If I didn't know better I'd swear that Eli & Clay were twins seperated at birth. That was like watchin' my own kid!

LOL! What a refreshing video. To know that my kids are not the only nuts out there that act like they belong in a zoo or something is very re-assuring! I just love your kids! Merry Christmas Dawn! (Oh! I have repeatedly dropped hints for getting your book for mothers day. Do you think I will get it?)

What a ham! I can visualize her having a very popular blog someday.

I know you will appreciate this. When it's a normal school day it takes dynamite to get my daughter out of bed on time (6:15 am) but when it's a snow day she's up an HOUR early (5:15 am), wide awake and "can't go back to sleep!"

OK. I have a 3 1/2 year old boywho acts just like clay. He also thinks he's quite funny:)

OK, Dawn, now you've done it. I read your blog pretty regularly and had the volume up for the Christmas music video you posted, and now my kids are never going to leave me alone. My three-year-old daughter and son are big fans of both Lex and Clay, and they were laughing hysterically about him "falling" to the floor. My daughter also repeated (about a dozen times) that Brooklyn is "SOOOO Cute!!!" Just thought I'd share...now your kids' followers have increased by another two. :)

That would be the 2 kids that decided the chicken crossed the road because the bat pooped on it!

I love the panning across the living room. I can't do that. It would show too much clutter and dirt and stuff! Love the pictures and stockings on the wall. Love the rows of movies. Love the dead tv! Arielle lost her front bottom tooth a couple of weeks ago and now the other one is already in covering up the hole. We have 4 wiggly teeth that I would love out by this next week so she can sing the song too but I don't think it's gonna happen.

You have very talented children! Especially Brooklyn. Singing in her sleep is quite a talent!

XOXO

OMGoodness, I could have been watching my son there -- he does EXACTLY the same thing! Nice to know I'm not the only one with a nutty son! :-)

Lexi is quite the little singer, isn't she? A real chanteuse. I couldn't sing that song with all of my teeth intact so I'm truly impressed. And Clay may well be the next generation's Jim Carey. He has a real gift for making people laugh, and he knows it and loves doing so. Each of your children shows such brilliance and joy. Each is so comfortable in their own skin, it's obvious they know they are loved for who they are where they are. That's a great testimony to the strength and stability of their homelife. Congratualations and keep up the good work!
PS - a quick comment on something someone said about Austin's essay - the question was raised re: whether he really believed what he wrote. If it were not in him he couldn't have written it in his own words, and it would have been obvious he was simply parroting things he's heard. But he didn't do thst. It was all him. He may not always act it out but how many adults do you know that 100% live up to all their aspirations? You have the greatest kids, Dawn and Joe - Kudos to the parents for shining the light in the right places at the right times in the right spirit. Go! team Meehan!!

Obviously very shy and awkward around the camera, eh?

This will be great to show to their dates one day.... LOL!

You know, Dawn... I'm watching this thinking you need another one or two kids running around your place ;) Just to fill it out a bit.

And was that you moving Brooklyn's lips? I LOVE how Lexi and Clay needed to get on stage to sing. You have such fun kids!
