Dawn Goes Psycho

I made the mistake of telling my kids about Spuds's post HERE. Big mistake. Big! Huge!!! I mean, I thought the story was pretty darn hilarious. You know, when it was happening to HIM. But my tune changed when it happened to yours truly.

This was my sink this morning...

Yeah, looks like something out of a horror movie, huh? Like the blood I had to wash from my hands after wringing Jackson's neck...

Oh but it doesn't end there. Noooo. Here's the shower...

Oh yeah. Fun times for Dawn. Know how much Kool Aid stains? I do.

But it didn't end there. Nope. Savannah said, "You know, Mom, he probably did the other shower too." So I grabbed my camera and off we went.

This didn't make Dawn happy.

Guess what, Spuds! I'm sending my kids to Tennessee. Have fun with that.

Oh man, that's quite the practical joke! They should have waited until April Fools! ;)

Was it only Jackson? Or did he have help?

How in the world did he do that??? He is the reason you blog, right?

This is hilarious! I know it wasn't funny to you Dawn, but this is just another reason I read your blog everyday. Thanks for a great laugh today!

Sorry Dawn, but from my chair that's funny! If you took Spud's purple shower and your red shower, what would you get?

ROTFLMAO! Too funny! So, you only have orange cool-aid on hand. Hope you don't have a magnifying glass nearby.

Take care,
Karen

Heh heh heh.....

Imitation is the highest form of flattery...but somehow I don't think that's very comforting right now. Take a page out of Spuds book and make him clean it up. :) At least your shower should smell good from the kool aid. :)

Whatever possessed you to tell them?!!!!! I read Spuds post, laughed so hard. Thought of you and your bunch...said to myself, good thing Dawns kiddo's don't know about this...HELLO Dawn!!! Sometimes we shouldn't tell our kids EVERYTHING!! LOL..

LOL!!

Also, Bartender's Friend (available at Bed, Bath & Beyond) is the best bathroom cleaner ever. It gets rid of my hard water stains with a minimum of scrubbing.

And that's the reason I chose NOT to share that post with my kids! I hope you got the stains out of the tub.

Maybe you should just go hide your magnifying glass right this minute!

And this is why we love our children sooooo much! LOL It would be a dull world without them to bring laughter to our lives. Hope the stains come out! Maybe try Mr Clean magic eraser? Have a great day!
Blessings,
Jill

I think thats hilarious!
Wonderful practical joke - ask the kids how they did it!

I think I might actually play this joke on my KIDS! (the Jell-o in the tap part, not the saran wrap over the toilet bowl part that was in SPUDS post.)

Beej said...

You should to it to them - rig the shower with Kool-Aid when everyone's gone to bed, and when you hear the kid turn on the water and shriek, you throw the bathroom door open and yell, "OH YEAH!!" like the Kool-Aid man.

Then you need to hide all the Kool-Aid. Forever.

Sherry said...

Ok, I'll ask what seems to be the obvious question... (lol)... after Feingold, why do you even have RED Kool-Aid in your home?? :) Just sayin'.

OMG! They want to make sure you don't run out of blogging material ;-)

I LOVE it! I'm saving it for when my kids get older (they're 2 1/2 yrs and 2 months) but I shared the post on my FB page and had some friends say they were going to do it! Oh this joke will live on forever!!

Y'know, for an extremely lovely and savvy lady, sometimes you're really not very clever Dawn!

;D

Do you want to get back at them?

Sprinkle some of that same jello on the towels they use to dry themselves off after their bath. (you must use colored towels, with matching jello to work the best)

Once the jello on those towels connect with the water on them.....

You're welcome.

(hey, the towels are probably already stained from this incident, right ;0)

Oh yeah, as I was reading this post, my 10 year old, rather mischevious son walked by me and I had to close the laptop because I know for sure that he would try this.

I TRIED using the hate mail section (ONLY FOR FUN THOUGH) & it wouldn't send, which is the point I'm presuming?
I struggle with my 3 kiddies being under 7 but even with SIX I'm hoping you only really have to watch the 3 youngest for naughtyness?
Put my 3yo girl in the room with my 6yo boy = HELL!

Hi Dawn....... you've now re-ignited the "shower scene" for me LOL. I'll never forget when that movie came out..I was about 14 and my parents wouldn't let me go and see it I had to go to my grandparents while they went alone. -How times have changed LOL

On a more serious note sorry that idiots have to go and spoil things for you. You're doing an amazing job and you don't have to explain to a bunch of strangers online why you do the things you do ! Take care xx

I knew right away that I could never let my kids find out about Spuds post and this is exactly why.

You're going to have lots of good material to console them with when they have kids of their own someday LOL! I had 5 kiddos in 7 years and they are all very "creative" as well. Exhausting, but funny. It's amazing how much crazy stuff can be funny. Hey, it's either laugh or cry... I pick laugh!

My children did not see this post, yet guess what they did today???!!!!??? Yep! Red Koolaid in the shower head. Luckily my shower head leaks....so when I walked into the bathroom I saw the red spatters on the shower wall & floor....they were made to clean it up themselves, to their dismay. KIDS!!
