"Hi honey! How was schoo....what the...??? Oh, what did you do now? Clayton, seriously, why do you do these things? Did you start your unit on cosmetology this week in preschool? Let me guess, you learned about eyebrow pencils today. What's on the agenda for tomorrow - tweezing and waxing? What did your teacher say? Do your friends think you're weird? Do you have friends? Oh child of mine...." sigh
His reply, "I dunno."
I suppose I should be thankful. At least he's getting better at this...

Ha,ha,ha, that was too funny I had to laugh sorry! That was cute! Children these days! :)
Too funny! I have an much older cousin that "draws" her eyebrows on just like Clay! At least he didn't apply eye shadow and lipstick with the markers....
I am so glad to see that other people have weird kids too!! :O)
At least he didn't shave off his real ones! :D
Hehe! This post made me laugh. And I think Clayton is adorable, eyebrow pencil and all!
Uh oh! When he starts wearing your clothes you better get concerned ;)
Clayton, Clayton, Clayton, that color is just not flattering on you! Too funny. I'm guess it's perm. marker?
He kinda looks like my mom's friend Nancy. Even as a grade schooler I was fascinated by the pencil she used instead of actual hair for eyebrows.
HEHE , maybe he'll support you when you get older, as he will be a famous makeup artist in Hollywood!
My kids used to draw all over their bodies. People would ask what was up with that, and my reply was always "Their washable body parts, or my walls. I'll take a leg."
Too funny! It reminds me of the time my youngest colored all over her own face with a green marker.
See, I think it looks more like the cartoon expression marks - like on Charlie Brown - than a lady's eyebrows. Maybe he was feeling exasperated. :0) I used to think it was appalling to see kids with messes. And then I had two of my own. Now I try to find it amusing - but the stares and looks I get... It could be worse. It could be PERMANENT - like a tattoo. Give me marker any day; makes for a good blog post.
I sure hope his school keeps the Sharpies locked up!
LOL THAT IS SO FUNNY!!!!!
LMAO! My son draws on EVERYTHING too.
Dawn, I don't know if you've heard yet or not, but Coleman Larson lost his battle last night. I don't know how else to get a hold of you, so I'm posting this here.
thanks for the laugh out loud
Cute adorable boy! And I can just see your face, you poor woman. In 30 years when he is watching his son or daughter do the exact same thing, you can tap him on the shoulder and tell him paybacks are hell! LOL! Nightie, night, Dawn...
Dawn -- I am sure you have read about the loss of Coleman Scott... my heart breaks for the family, especially his twin.
At least it isn't permanent.
I like your reaction better than my husband's. While we were at friends' yesterday (while eating Lou's!), all the girls Mister Man's age were playing with makeup. They asked him if he wanted any, and I said it was up to him. My husband started FREAKING out. Whatever. It's age appropriate. Get over it, (insulting name here that I won't use for fear of insulting someone else). I feel better now :)
Wow, he IS getting better. Unless the unibrow was his intention, and if that was case, the first one was better. Comes full circle, huh? The first one he needed a tweeze, the second pic, he's got some dynamite arches going for him! Love it.
Oh man, had to respond after Michelle's comment. My son has 2 older sisters.
Guess who got 'made over' a few times when he was little? I have pictures of him in a dress, hair in ponytails, and makeup on. He's almost 16 now, and 6'.
Yep, those pics will be coming out at his graduation open house in a couple years. LOL!
Dawn in Michigan
When my nephew was about ten, he shaved off his eyebrows, pulled a cap over his head, and went off to school. His mom totally flipped when she saw him that afternoon. But the best was his dad, who snuck into his room that night and magic-markered new eyebrows on him, much like Clay's.
Clayton's fashion statement makes sense to me...that's just Clayton being uniquely (Clayton)! ;)
He did do remarkably well, I'll say that much. It could be worse, he could have cut up his pants, or his hair. I had to have scissors banned from one son, even at school.
