Congratulations Aunt Kelly and Uncle Ross!
I can't figure out if my cute little nephew, Dominick, is trying to make a point or if he's just telling my kids, "Shhhhh!" after they were mauling him.
This is the conversation that took place on my way to baseball.
CLAY: Go faster, Mom!
LEX: She's going faster than Daddy.
CLAY: Mom is more faster than Dad.
LEX: Yeah. Mom's car is faster than Dad's.
CLAY: Yeah, Mom has a fast car. Why is Mom more faster?
LEX: Because Mom has more gas.
CLAY: Ohhh. Yeah, Mom has more gas so she goes more faster.
LEX: Yeah. Dad doesn't have enough gas.
CLAY: Do you need gas to go fast?
LEX: Yeah, you need lots of gas to go faster.
CLAY: Ohhh. Mom has lots of gas.
(By the way, I'm pretty sure Joe has more gas.)

You should totally get one of these! http://bettermarriageblanket.com/
That will help with all of the gas issues!
I'm glad I'm not the only person who has conversations about gas with my kids. Of course, our conversations happen just about every single time we get into the car, and periodically, Little Miss has to actually open the gas tank and peer in to see. (Or at least open the flap, not the actual tank)
Beautiful pictures. I love newborn babes! Or at least pictures of them. Or seeing them when I know I can hand them back to their mothers. Or fathers. Or random strangers.
Hope the baseball went well and you got all the games in before the rain came!
lol kids conversations are classic.
Oh, she is SO CUTE and tiny and perfect!
That conversation between Lex and Clay was great. Too funny, or should I say, toot funny.
Too cute. Sounds like a conversation my boys would have.
By the way, I was reading Sunday's Baby Blues and I thought of you :)

I KNOW Mr. Fix-it has more gas!
So, if we ate more legumes do you think we could harvest the gas and cut down on the cost at the pumps?
And while we are at it, how about a favorite recipe? It doesn't have to be a "beans" one.
What I love is when we are all in the car and the kids say, "Daddy, you don't drive as fast as Mommy does!" Thanks, kids.
LOL....you just reminded me of something I can blog about in the future. Don't you love how kids think?
Awwww.... your new niece is adorable! Congratulation, Auntie Dawn!
hahahaha -- Isn't it amazing how kids' minds work???

My son made a comment to my family that made me turn about 5 shades of red. We were blowing up balloons for a party when he announced to the whole house that "My Mom is the best blower in the whole world right Dad?" Of course my husband was laughing his head off as he says "You are right there!" I wanted to crawl under a rock. Gotta love kids right.
LOL, you go more faster with gas, hehe good one.
The baby pics are adorable!
Have a great day!
HAHAHA.
Congrats on the adorable new niece!
Awww Ryan is beautiful! Yeah, I am pretty sure that most husbands have more gas, lol (only exception is when the wife is pregnant).
Hey Dawn -
How about Mom2My6PackExtendedVersion?
Or
Mom2My6PackDirector'sCut? Of course, that may only apply if you have a ceasarean...

Absolutely excellent name. And the spelling is perfect. You do have to fight the "She's a girl" a lot, but it's worth it. You don't run in to many girl Ryans. Do you remember the movie Hiding Out? The girl in it was named Ryan. Love it. It's served us well for nearly 12 years and thankfully no regrets from the girl.
Dawn -- How did you and Joe decide on six children? I really would like 6 or more, but my hubby is set at 4 (we are presently half way there). Did you have to convince Joe for more children or did Joe convince you for the children? Any hints would help.
Men always have more "gas", right?.
What a sweet niece you have! Love your blog, even if you claim to be less gassy than Joe. :0) I love kid conversations!
Hugs,
Karla
Your niece and nephew are sooo cute.. Although I am sure you already know that. Dominick looks a lot like your kids. Do most of your siblings or your husbands siblings children look like your kids also???
LMAO!
the whole time I was reading that conversation I was thinking," There is NO way that Dawn has more gas than Joe!" hahahaha
The baby is just BEAUTIFUL! Makes me want to reverse my tubal! (CRUD! I'd not only have to change my blog name, but my ID name too!)
The babies are adorable. My husband has more gas AND he drives faster too so maybe there is something to this! : )
Too Cute! love kids conversations.
your nephew totally looks like your kids! too cute
That is so cool that you niece's name is Ryan, my daughter is also a Ryan, but spelled Rian. I have been hearing that alot lately, and her eI thought I was doing soemthing different haa haa.
Very cool!
I like Mom2my6pack with a chaser,
I come from that sort of family.
I have a friend who has 12. Some are out of the house now, but hers isn't any bigger than yours. Can you say QUEEN of Organization.
Oh, and 8 of hers are boys...and she homeschools...talk about big ones being great with little ones.
Blessings, EJT
Dominick looks like Brooklyn!
I understand how other people's babies make you want more... That's how we ended up trying (and succeeding!) for a third : )
Tomorrow I get to go find out if my girls will get a little sister or a little brother; it's so exciting! Though I was a little put-out when an old friend from church did a double take yesterday when I told him my due date, and he asked if I was having twins...
It's not twins in case anyone else is wondering...
I just love conversations between kids. They are a hoot.
Awwww! Makes ME want to have another one, too, lol!
I just LOVE conversations like that with the kiddos, lol!
