My New Assistant - Brooklyn

Brooklyn has done some redecorating. How very, ummm, colorful! Yes, it's very colorful, Brooklyn. Thanks for not drawing on the furniture, at least.

Ohhh, they're important notes? Oooo, what do they say, Brooklyn?

Oh yeah. It's a good thing I've got you to help remind me of all these important things! :)

  1. Very cute! Very thoughtful! How much one on one Mommy time does she have now? (when Clay is in school). I hope that things in your family are OK (re: mother-in-law & sue for liable, etc)...especially with the holidays coming. Will keep you in my thoughts & prayers. You are a GREAT MOM and WIFE and DAUGHTER and CHRISTIAN!!! Keep it up. Thanks for your honesty. :)

  3. Look at how organized your videos are! Was this the 30 seconds following straightening them? Mine NEVER stay that neat for very long!

  6. When I was a freshman in college, we shared a four-bedroom apartment with one kitchen. One lazy roommate, who should not have moved away from home without learning how to clean up after herself, left a pot of food on the stove after another roommate had cleaned the whole kitchen. We put a trail of post-its from her bedroom door to the aforementioned pot with a big "WTF?" written on the last one. Apparently this was too much for her delicate sensibilities and she complained the the RA, and we had to have a sit down with them and agree that post-its can be construed as hostile and we would never use them again.

She moved out a week later anyway.

This reminded me of that story.

  7. You're lucky it was only Post It Notes! My daughter once took postage stamps, nearly an entire roll and licked them all over the house. I had to soak them off and the Post Office gracefully refunded my money. I still found some several years later tho! Sharon

  8. Anna did that recently. She made sure I knew it was her by writing "AMN" (aka her name - Anna) on each one.

  11. At least they weren't stamps. A friend caught her daughter putting "stickers" on her bed. It's a very expensive bed now, but she can mail it if she needs to!

  12. So cute! When my middle daughter was 5, she wrote her older sister's initials all over the house with a Sharpie. She thought it would be harder to figure out who did it, and to this day she denies that it was her, all with a smirk on her face. The initials are still there, and we're still dealing with a cunning, too smart for her britches child (now 8)-ugh.

  13. Ok she is hired! I need a new assistant and she appears far more capable than the one I currently have.

    Take care
