The folks from Campbell's sent me this package a couple weeks ago and it just happened to arrive while I had all 6 kids home sick. What awesome timing was that?! Chicken soup and juice! It was just what I needed. I'm thinking it was supposed to be a nice school lunch kit with the lunch bag and water bottle, but I personally used it as a "Get Well" care pack. What's more comforting, when you're sick, than chicken soup?
Campbell's has 13 new kid friendly chicken soups, including Disney Princess, Cars, SpongeBob, and Goldfish pasta. Each of these new kids' condensed soups contain 24% less sodium than the regular Campbell's condensed chicken noodle soup and all of the kids soups meet the government criteria for healthy foods, with controlled fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, and sodium.
And especially when you're sick and getting dehydrated through vomiting and/or fever, it's important to replace those fluids. We went through a ton of V-8 V-Fusion juice a couple weeks ago. We all really love this juice to begin with, but while the kids were sick and not interested in eating at all, I knew they were getting fluids, calories, vitamins, and fruits and vegetables through the V-Fusion.
Campbell's has a
Oh with 4 kids you know I am going to need this flu , I mean lunch pack :D
ReplyDeleteMy kids LOVE V8 Fusion. I even told them it has veggies in it, and they like it anyway! Now that is good juice!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this! We love the V8 Fusion juice, too!
ReplyDeleteHow very nice of them! And such perfect timing. Glad everyone is on the mend now.
ReplyDeleteMy family loves Campbell's products!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful pack!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are all feeling better. Love the goodies and lunch pack.
ReplyDeleteSara
What a great giveaway! We could really use that in this house.....right about now! lol
ReplyDelete"Flu pack". LOL. Love it. Husband is on the road for 10 days and the only child at home now has fur and 4 feet. I actually MADE CHICKEN SOUP from SCRATCH this week in my slow cooker and froze it in 16 oz servings because I KNOW I'm gonna need it and if he's on the road when I get sick, I'm not going to want to toodle out to the store for soup! If I coulda been this prepared in my younger years, I coulda RULED THE WORLD! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for a good sale on the V8 Fusion so I can "try" some on my daughter who refuses to eat vegetables.
ReplyDeleteI've wanted to try the v-fusion.
ReplyDeleteIt is ridiculous how much I want to win this! I love the soups, we want to try the V fusion, and it's only a matter of time before my kids start losing their lunch boxes and water bottles...so I want it! lol
ReplyDeleteWe could use the flu pack about now. My youngest has been down with the flu since Friday afternoon. Not fun at all.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this prize, call me crazy but I know its only time till the flu bug hits my house!!! Wendie in Woodburn, OR
ReplyDeleteWe love the V Fusion here!! I'd love to win this! It was good timing when that arrived for you. I'm glad to hear everyone is feeling better now. I only have 2 kids and when they are both sick it's hard for me. I can't even imagine what it was like with 6!
ReplyDeleteSounds good! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome package!! I would love to win that, especially with 3 little kids and a hubby that is starting to get sick!!!
ReplyDeleteThat would have been nice a couple weeks ago. But since I know we'll be sick again, I'm sure it will come in handy!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love V 8 fusion.. it makes great smoothies!
ReplyDeleteMy kids call the V-8 Fusion juice "Granny juice" because she always has it at her house. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway for this time of year! Glad your family is doing better!
ReplyDeleteLove Cambell soups!!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried V8 fusion before.
ReplyDeletebeen curious about that fusion stuff, but not enough to actually buy it. Love fruits but not a big fan of most veggies, pretty much stick to salad veggies only.
ReplyDeleteoh!!!! oh!!!! oh!!! Pick me!!
ReplyDeleteT. Timmons
I don't want to win if it means I would be jinxed with the flu!!
ReplyDeleteStephanie A.
I'd love this!!
ReplyDeleteSPepper22
The flu has hit here too. We could use all the soup we can get! Thanks for your awesome blog!
ReplyDeleteI want free goodies!
ReplyDeleteI love Fusion - so yummy!
ReplyDeleteYum!
ReplyDeleteSounds great! We could use it!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this. I just hope that I don't need it for sick family.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I'd love to have one!
ReplyDeleteCool Giveaway! Count me in. :)
ReplyDeleteI now always have fusion in my house from your talking about it months ago. my son's pediatrician says he loves it too. glad you're all on the mend.
ReplyDeleteMy friend's one year old son has swine flu. She got told just today but he's been sick for three days!
ReplyDeleteShe could sure use that!
the giveaway sounds awesome
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try the v-8 fusion; I was afraid it was too tomatoey, but you make it sound good. Thanks for the flu info! Glad you're all getting back on your feet, and you personally avoided it.
ReplyDeleteI would so love to win this. I know it's only a matter of time before one of my girls get sick.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your kiddos are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteMy family loves Campbell's, and with four kids in the house, at least one of us is bound to get the flu, so this would be awesome to have!
ReplyDeleteGlad everyone is better and thanks for the great giveaway. I haven't tried V-8 Fusion yet, but have been wanting to. Thanks for the chance to win all the goodies.
ReplyDeleteV-Fusion is one of the few juices I don't feel bad about giving my kids. My oldest could drain a bottle in one afternoon. And my youngest loves the soup. There's just something about chicken noodle soup that makes you feel better after the flu. This looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteI hope I win, but I hope I don't win the flu!
ReplyDeletewow that was a lot like a commercial but I understand it's your job. I keep meaning to try those V-Fusion drinks. It would be nice to get a package like that.
ReplyDeleteAbout a month ago, my DH and all 3 kids had the swine flu, while I had pneumonia. Yes, all at the same time. This "flu" pack would have been a God Send!
ReplyDeleteFusion is the only juice I buy for my son as he refuses to eat any veggies. He LOVES pretty much all of the flavors. This would be a GREAT pack to win for our family!
ReplyDeletei bet this will make a great sinus infection kit too as my daughter and I both have been stricken with it :)
ReplyDeleteSounds awesome. I am glad that your kids are doing better.
ReplyDeleteAnita in Indiana
What a great little pack. I am sick with pneumonia right now...I need it!
ReplyDeleteMy kids love V8 V-Fusion!
ReplyDeletesounds great - glad everyone is better
ReplyDeleteby the way there is a cartoon called Baby Blues and they are running a story about pink cowboy boots
ReplyDeleteI could really use this but then again who couldn't.
ReplyDeleteThat was great timing on their part! Put me in for the drawing please.
ReplyDeleteJust had the Princess and Cars soup the other day. My kids gobbled it up. Never had the V8 Fusion but will give it a taste!
ReplyDeleteI work at an airport and I'm afraid I'm going to bring home some nasty germs to my family! Hopefully this "flu pack" will help ward off the germs or help soothe the sickness if they follow me home!
ReplyDeleteEmiliy
SOUNDS GREAT! MY DAUGHTER LOVES CHICKEN SOUP MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE!!
ReplyDeleteOh that looks yummy! Chicken soup is such a comfort food and a healthy one to boot!
ReplyDeleteWe could definitely use that here. Still recovering from the flu. I like your idea of a flu pack. I may make one up with special H2O bottle, coloring book and such just to have on hand when kids get sick. Just a little something to brighten their day when they don't feel well. What a neat idea.
ReplyDeleteI love the V8 fusion. We just went through the flu ourselves, so this would be a little late for us, but we would love it anyway! :)
ReplyDeleteThe flu hasn't hit our house yet, but it is all around us. I'm sure this would come in very handy in the near future.
ReplyDeleteMMM MMM GOOD
ReplyDeleteMy family loves Fusion and we could use that flu pack. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWith cold and flu season well under way it would be great to have this stuff on hand when those germs come knocking on our door.
ReplyDeleteCampbells is the very best!
ReplyDeleteFun so I should receive this right about the time my kids come down with the flu???? :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. Always looking for options to put in the lunch boxes. With 3 kids taking lunches everyday to school making sandwiches gets a little boring.
ReplyDeleteV-8 fusion is the best. I would love to have a back up flu kit, just in case. :) Glad you're all on the mend.
ReplyDeleteWe had the lovely flu last week! My youngest ended up in the hospital with it.. scary stuff! Glad everyone is feeling better at your house :)
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway - we would love to try some v-fusion!
ReplyDeleteL Robinson
We could live for months on V8 Fusion and Campbell's soup! My fingers are crossed as I would love to win this!
ReplyDeleteI wish I would have had this over the weekend when we all had the flu, but it would make a great getting well pack!
ReplyDeleteI consider it ironic that you're choosing a winner on Fridat, the very day our kids are getting their swine flu vaccine! Hopefully I would be able to use this as a lunch pack, indeed!
ReplyDeleteWe've never tried V8 Fusion, but it looks good.
ReplyDeleteJust finished up the flu here too.
I'm hoping we dont get the flu, but this sure does sound yummy!!
ReplyDeleteWe are BIG fans of both V Fusion AND SpongeBob soup in my house. Both are pretty much staples here.
ReplyDeleteCampbells Rocks!
ReplyDeleteCambells soup is mmm, mmm good!
ReplyDeleteOh, I think we're about to have a run-in with the flu...I only have four, but it still sucks. I should probably go stock up on chicken soup and juice. We've never tried the V8 Fusion, maybe I'll get some. =D
ReplyDeleteI love V-Fusion! Right now I am drinking the Raspberry/Goji and yes, its all for me cause my 3 beautiful daughters were kind enough to share their colds with me! And my husband is gone till next Wednesday so that means no break for me...And Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup is a staple in my house.
ReplyDeleteI have been meaning to give the V8 Fusion a try since you raved about it months ago!
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE V-Fusion juice! I personally think it's a little too sweet, but my kids drink it up greedily and ask for more, so I'm sold!
ReplyDeleteLooks really great!
ReplyDeleteYum, we love V-Fusion and Chicken Noodle Soup! Pick me, pick me!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome! What timing! I love Campbell's products. :)
ReplyDeleteHow timely! We are down with the flu this week, too. And, we already eat and drink all of these things, so this would be a perfect treat!
ReplyDeleteyum, campbell's
ReplyDeleteWith 3 kids and a daycare I'm sure we will get the flu somewhere. If not we will still use it! YUM!
ReplyDeleteJust wondering if the soups contain MSG? We had stopped eating campbell soups due to the MSG. I know the "healthy" editions don't contain MSG, but nobody likes them is my house.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter had H1N1 ..she got it on her birthday!
ReplyDeletesounds really great!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks really tasty....just hoping we could use it for school and not the flu! Thanks - glad everyone is doing better your way.
ReplyDeleteI can see the flu coming...!
ReplyDeleteWow! We could really use this. Thanks, Dawn!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to try V-8 Fusion, but never had the guts (I *hate* vegetable juice!) Plus, we go through water bottles like crazy (my boy is constantly leaving them at ball fields), and my kids NEVER drink enough, so I would love to win one! Glad you are all feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing better than chicken soup when you're feeling under the weather! I'm excited to hear they've reduced the sodium content!
ReplyDeleteWould love to get this, hopefully we won't get hit by the bug but better safe than sorry!
ReplyDeleteI would live to win this "flu pack". I never win anything!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. I love when things come along at just the right time. It's a bonus when the item can meet more than one need.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the offer.
Lynn
Looks yummy!! My son got the flu 3 times last year, even after he got the flu mist. We got the shot this year (hoping it would help), but with this "lunch" pack we would be prepared!
ReplyDeleteShannon in SC
Hopefully we won't need it for illness, but we'd love to have it anyway!
ReplyDeleteUmmm....Ummmm....Good! Love Campbells....And adore your new assistant. She is fabulous
ReplyDeleteHow awesome that you got this pack at just the right time! Thanks for offering the giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking we'll get it before the vaccine is available too. So we'll need it!
ReplyDeleteLove campbells soup - Bean with Bacon is my favorite!
ReplyDeletewe are all sick around here..we NEED soup!! dang flu and cold season!!
ReplyDeletehope i win...

That is wonderful! You're very generous to be giving away things on a regular basis. :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're all feeling better. Thanks again for thinking of your readers with this chance to win.
ReplyDeleteAngie
We love their soup and juice! My 4 kids are sick since yesterday with the nasty flu. This would be oh so perfect for them. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love Campbell's soups! Haven't yet tried Fusion.
ReplyDeleteWe just started with the fever last night so I think this is going to be a long week....
ReplyDeleteWould love to win so we could try the juice. I have looked at the juice many times, but have not bought any not knowing if I would like it, but would definately like to try some.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, how awesome is that!! :)
ReplyDeleteHoping if I win that I can use it as a lunch kit, not a flu kit;) I just love Campbell's kid friendly chicken soups
ReplyDeleteWe'd love this package even though we're not sick!
ReplyDeleteIt must be because I'm at work and its freezing....but all of those soups look delicious right now! I'd love the pack!
ReplyDeleteI could definitely use these products, almost on a daily basis. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteSoup and juice! Who could ask for more?
ReplyDeleteI agree about the V8 Fusion - my kids love it. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are all feeling better. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteWhat great timing for you. I think they should market a "flu pack". I'm sure this time of year it would be very popular.
ReplyDeleteCool! I wanna try it!
ReplyDeleteWe could certainly use those in my house. Thanks!
ReplyDelete"Lunch packs" are the best!! Especially when Mom is sick and no one else cooks. She can easily say "Go get the lunch pack out of the cupboard and make that for me". I know I know.. it's a dream world I live in, but it's possible. Right?!
ReplyDeletemy name is liz from nashua nh and i am a stay at home mom of 5 and they always get sick at the same time. love your blog.
ReplyDeleteOoooh! Love the Fusions and interested in the lower sodium soups for my children. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteQuick, the flu has started hitting kids at our schools this week, and this kit may come in handy!
ReplyDeleteGod's timing is always perfect. What a great package.
ReplyDeleteThis would be great seeing how my son just told me a girl in his class has H1N1. Counting the days until it comes to my house.
ReplyDeletelove the "flu pack"!

ReplyDeleteStormy5475@aol.com
Yum. Flu food.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful combination of products. Hubby needs a new lunch bag, and I've wanted to try those V-Fusion drinks. Please pick me :)
ReplyDeleteJust what I need! I've got 5 kids under 6 1/2 and can always use soup and juice. If one gets sick, you can bet the others will follow.
ReplyDeleteI always have zero luck in winning anything, but I'll give it a go. My 8 year old won't eat meat or veggetables, so getting him to eat something healthy, like V8 Fusion, is a Godsend! I'll keep my fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteWe're always looking for lunch packs. I've got one picky eater in particular that hates sandwiches.
ReplyDeleteThat looks really great! Awesome timing. I have a cold now that I got from the baby I take care of. I need this!
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE V-8 Fusion - sometimes, this it the only way to get some fruits and veggies into my 3 year old. And the taste is great!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I don't want to post... the flu has not come by here yet.
ReplyDeleteSo far we have escaped the flu- only minor colds. But it always pays to be prepared!
ReplyDeleteGod has a way of providing just what is needed, just when it is needed.

ReplyDeleteJanice In South Dakota
I'm glad that it came in so handy for you. I ran out of chicken noodle soup when we had the stomach bug run thru our family a few weeks ago. Having an extra lunch box would come in handy too, my son tends to leave them at school.
ReplyDeleteWe love V-Fusion in our house! My daughter hated fruit juice until she tried it and I love knowing she's getting all her fruits and veggies in when she's sick.
ReplyDeleteMy family loves the V8 Fusion too! I wish it wasn't so expensive!
ReplyDeleteMy kids love soup!
ReplyDeleteWhat great timing! I am glad that God provided for your needs before you even knew you had a need.

ReplyDeleteThanks Dawn & Campbell's!
We love V-8 V-fusion! What a great idea for flu season.
ReplyDeleteYou know what's crazy.... The week after your household had the flu and I read your post thinking "Man, I hope that doesn't happen to me..." MY HOUSEHOLD HAD IT. Now, I work at a hospital and they offered the seasonal flu vaccine FREE to me, so I didn't get any flu of any kind - but I can't get the swine flu vaccination because I have MS. Basically what happened - My 7 year old who has heart disease, woke up Thursday morning week before last sick as a dog. Called work, then took her to the doctor. They tested her for H1N1 - said they would call back in 4-5 hours. 4-5 hours later Ta-Da! Heart disease kid has SWINE FLU. 2 hours later the boyfriend comes home w/ flu-like symptoms. Send him to the doctor - tested for H1N1 ..Ta-da ...another one down. My 4 year old was totally healthy until the next day until his temperature was 103.8 - yeah :). So I was mad rushing to the store. I was SO psyched to se Campbells soup on sale for 73 cents a can... I nearly was doing cartwheels and flips in the aisle. I bought 16 cans and we went through ALL 16 cans in like 6 days. NO JOKE. LOVE the stuff :) Just call me Supermom :) P.S. - Everyone is better now - thank goodness because I'm out of Lysol and my poor body can't take any more cleaning and disinfecting!
ReplyDeleteI would like to win!
ReplyDeleteRebecca

ReplyDeletegreat idea!
