You want some spaghetti with that cheese, Brooklyn?
No, you don't need to clean it up, Mom. I'll just lick it up like this.

At least she digested some of it. My 2 year-old flung half of his dinner onto my husbands shirt and then fed the rest to the dog. Why do I even try?
ReplyDeleteYeah...my 3yo does the same thing. She won't eat pizza without a little parm and ends up pouring half the jar on it. Blech.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Brooklyn!!! How do you feel about bacon bits?? I my son loves Bacon Bits as much as Brooklyn loves Parm. Cheese. He is a little too old to put his face in them but I have no doubt he would if I would let him.
ReplyDeleteMuch love to the Parm Cheese Girl
Dawn,
ReplyDeleteYou may have heard about this, but I wanted to let you know just in case. There is a service (website based) that can take your blog and turn in into a book! Kind of like a yearbook-book. I am doing this to fulfill the need to scapbook (no way, no how to scrapbooking for me!). Here is the website if you want to check it out: www.blurb.com It will capture all your pics and postings. The books are pretty reasonable, like less than $100 and you can have anywhere from 10 to 500 pages, the price is dependent on how many pages you have.
I LOVE YOUR BLOG!!!

Just like my daughter! 'Xcept she says, "I dood it by myself!"
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of your blogs are the photos! I love the photos of Brooklyn, but what about the rest of the kids, are they camera shy?
ReplyDeleteHi Dawn, This is funny. I was going to ask you a question today and it pertains to food. My son had a birthday slumber party this weekend. His bedroom has a smell something like either a food burp or that sprinkle cheese Brooklyn Loves! I can't seem to find anything. Do you usually know that there is a hidden tresure in the kids bedroom because of a smell? Oh how I wish I had my dog still, she would have tracked the source. Wish me luck. Kristine in Michigan.
ReplyDeleteHEY DAWN!!!! Wanted to say I have the same plates! I love corelle (SP?) I am asking for more for Christmas. With 3 kids and one very nosy dog I am losing dishes (that arent corelle) fast! Also Brooklyn honey you are my kinda gal! I love a little spaghetti with my Cheese! No shame in it! Yep I am a crazy one but hey thats what my blog is all about eh?
ReplyDeleteSo, when she came up, was it like a photo of Al Pacino in Scareface?
ReplyDeleteLOL - now that's funny!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's line at that age was "Me do it!" and I believe I threw away more parmesan cheese than we ever actually ate! :)
Brooklyn is adorable!!!

hey...I have the same silverware from Oneida. Don't you love it? You know how you eventually get sick of your stuff? I'll never get sick of my silverware...it's great!
ReplyDeleteMy girls are 7 and 6 and STILL do that stuff! We have taught them how to snort like a pig ... like that scene from 'A Christmas Story', "Mommy's little piggy, snort, snort..."
ReplyDeleteBig fun at my house.
Kerri does the same thing. She licks the cheese off the plate. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteHer hair is very shiny. Must be all the parmesean in her diet! : )
ReplyDeleteHehe, cute as always! I couldn't handle that much parmesan for sure, lol.
ReplyDeleteI like the purple top the best! And I LOVE the shoes! Both are very good choices! Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteOh the animated discussions (also known as fights) we have over how much 'sprinkle cheese' is too much. I love the stuff too, but really kids, I cant be buying a new packet of parm every week!!!
ReplyDeleteAwe, she is so cute...I love the photo..she's gonna laugh several years from now..

My 14 yr old still puts way to much of every condiment on his food. Salt, seasoned salt, butter, etc-he buries his food with it. There should not be 1/2 a cup of ketchup leftover on your plate when you are finished with dinner, Know What I Mean?
ReplyDeleteMmmm Cheese! Good!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! GREAT photo! That's a kid my husband would appreciate. He wishes I'd let him eat cheese like that...
ReplyDeleteNot that I know this from experience or anything, but ... if you take that mixture and microwave it, it turns out pretty well. Just saying.
ReplyDeletewaoooooooo looking delicious food.
