I don't have much to say this week because I'm fah-reak-ing out about our move! The U-Pack truck comes on Wednesday! Eeeek! But I did finish the video I've been talking about. Need a laugh? (Who doesn't, right?) Then watch this video. You won't regret it. I had WAY too much fun making it. And make sure you watch until the end for the bloopers! It's worth it! Enjoy!
ok i may have wet my pants JUST a little as i was watching that video Dawn....ohhh that lady in the store when you were throwing your paddy!!! oh my!!! lol!!!
ReplyDeleteand the one who put her kids into the trolley and took off....SO SO funny!!!!
thanks for a laugh and ALL the best for the move!!!
SO SO FUNNY!!! And was that a tiny little fart I heard at the end of the bloopers? Perfect! BTW, nice burp, Austin.... Also, yes, I'm an 8 year old boy cleverly disguised as a 40-something year old girl. What? Burps and farts ARE funny!!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteWill somebody wipe my butt?!!?
ReplyDeleteToo FUNNY! I am going to try that one on my kids and see what happens! ROFL
Great job Dawn!
That video totally made my morning! And it's a Monday morning, so that really says something! Dawn, you are a wonderful mom. The way your kids laugh and giggle and, frankly, participate in such shenanigans is a clear indication that you have fun with your kids and, more importantly, they have fun with you. I'll be thinking of you lots (and lots!) this week. Safe travels... and hooray for new (and well deserved, and long overdue) beginnings! And just so we're clear... I get to live with you in the winter, right? RIGHT?!?
ReplyDeleteHilarious!! Thanks for the giggles! Oh if only I was brave enough to throw a fit in a store to embarrass the kids.......
ReplyDeleteOh Dawn I just nearly broke a rib and scared the cat with laughing so much.
ReplyDeleteExcellently well done, you're AWESOME!!
That is so funny, I really enjoyed it this morning. :)
ReplyDeleteI should have known better than to watch this while I was eating my lunch. Now I gotta to clean my computer screen...
ReplyDeletePS - I jump in puddles on a regular basis. Just 'cause.
You guys ROCK! Seriously, your kids are all adorable and obviously have your great sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteYour cereal temper tantrum was HILARIOUS! Those people's reactions were priceless... Now I understand why you're moving all the way to Florida! Hahaha. And the elevator thing is totally something my two-year-old would pull. Classic.
ReplyDeleteYour kids are ADORABLE. Seeing them all laughing in the bloopers is wonderful... Really, this entire video is terrific. Great work!

So funny!!!! The lady at the grocery store with the two kids, was that staged or did she really want to get away from you. I think I would be cracking up if I saw this in public and knew you were of stable mind. So funny!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWatched and shared! I'm just thinking how much I could embarrass my kids by trying some of these things in public. Better, make my dh do them and I'll stand with the camera.
ReplyDeleteok, my kids and I just laughed SO HARD!
ReplyDeleteSo funny and so true! Did I catch one of your kids sneaking in a "That's what she said" at the end? Hysterical.
ReplyDeleteThat's just too funny. I loved the stare you got from the guy in the store! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe video is awesomeness! I laughed and laughed...and now I'm going to buy your books to save for my daughter when she has kids...might buy an extra copy for the mom across the street (5 year old, 17 month old & brand new baby!) I'll bet she needs your humor..
ReplyDeleteI'll keep you and your kids in my prayers :)
Dawn, That was so funny!!! I laughed hard at the " Look what I can do" I had a thought you should of been pushing a shopping cart into one of the kids heels and have them yelling about it :) Kristine in Michigan.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the video, and my 16 yr. old son came in and watched it too. He was laughing with me!
ReplyDeleteI think my favorites were the grocery store tantrum and the one where you keep saying "Look at this" "Are you watching?" and then you do the little jump. That is so true of kids!!!
Were the reactions of the people at the store real? Loved the mom that couldn't get her kid in the cart fast enough!!!
Good luck with the move!
I loved the cereal and syrup part. It looks like you really struggled against your motherhood to make a mess while pouring the ceral. It reminded me of standing next to a freezing pool and my muscles refusing to move me in...you just couldn't do it well, could you!
ReplyDeletei love the bloopers and i'm so glad the whole family did this with you...priceless for now and a decade or four from now.
OMGoodness! Even without the sound turned on (Mom's asleep in the next room) the video was hilarious! Can't wait to watch AND listen to the whole thing during daylight hours. I can just imagine what the adults around you were thinking. It's a shame some folk just ain't got no sense of humor. LOL! Good luck with your move! :)
ReplyDeleteThat was great! I just read both your books in the last couple of weeks. Because I Said So was my favorite! I showed my husband the chapter titled My "Other" Child and had to explain that one to him. HAHA!!
ReplyDeleteA question for your next SSO: Do you ever get told Brooklyn should be a model? If so, what do you think of that?
ReplyDeleteI often get told that about my 4yr old daughter and I don't want her to think her worth is based on her looks, and therefore I certainly do not want to try to get her into modeling. (Anyway, it's my husband's grandmother who keeps saying that and she annoys me pretty much all the time.)
So funny. Thanks for the laugh.

Love all the laughing in the bloopers! Clearly you all had fun doing the video. No question that you are a great mom!
ReplyDeleteThat is halarious. Imagine if all adults acted that way I love it lol
ReplyDeleteI finally just got around to watching this video and OMG sooo funny. I thought my fave part was the revolving door until I got to the end where you were looking for some help in the bathroom. My stomach hurts from laughing! Loved how all the kids ran out the door :)
