So, what you're saying is that I should've bought a hammock in the Outer Banks?
No way! This one is great, Mom! It's totally comfy! Wanna try it?
Ummm, as stable as it looks, what with the ladder and two by fours, I think I'm gonna pass, but thanks honey. Very creative.
Where are you going, Mom?
Oh, I'm just gonna go grab my insurance card and car keys. You know, to be ready for our trip to the emergency room.
LOL, where do they come up with these ideas? To have their creativeness! BTW, loved Spuds comment to you about the ironing thing! lol
ReplyDeleteAh, the joy of kids.
ReplyDeleteMine have been working hard at building a zip-line from a very tall pine tree to the top of the play structure. I'm dreading the 25' drop.
I'm so glad we have gov't health care here in Canada.
OMG, I have THAT to look forward to?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteYou know, sometimes I click on your blog name and a picture like this one pops up and I laugh out loud. Then I read it to find out just how brilliant and inventive your kids are. I'm seriously impressed! This is one I'll show my husband tonight - he's a big believer in using what you have...
ReplyDeleteHe is a creative genius! Seriously, if he doesn't already participate in Odyssey of the Mind or Destination Imagination, he really should! Those progams are tailor-made for kids like him!
ReplyDeleteYou have to admit, that really is pretty ingenious!
ReplyDeleteMy vision isn't what it used to be and I'm just curious. Did he jury-rig that out of chaise lounge cushions?
ReplyDeleteHe's certainly a creative little dickens; with those types of skills, Jackson could easily succeed as an interior decorator or architect.
Pat
Your kids are so "creative"! Do they also put all the creativity away after they're done with it?
ReplyDeleteTHAT is fabulous!!! I'm constantly amazed at the creativity of your kids!!
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! Looks like something I would have thought of when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteSo Dawn what all went on with you and Spuds???? The Pic of the two of you looks great, along with the pic of just you on the beach that one is really good. Glad you all had a good time.
It looks like he's getting ready to spend the night in there! Did you let him?
ReplyDeleteROFL! I'm almost afraid to ask what he's going to do next.. ;) I wonder what he wants to be when he grows up. Hehehhee... What do you think, Dawn? :P
ReplyDeleteTell him I need one of those for my backyard. I love to "recline on then dangerous side"! It's the simplicity of the design with the total "fear factor" element thrown in for extra spice! I love it! Give him a fist bump for me!Unless his arm is in a sling... then just give him a "head nod" for me.
ReplyDeleteLooks safe enough to me! LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove it! He looks pretty comfy up there. Very creative indeed. This is totally something my 2nd son would come up with, and be very proud.
