It's a ballerina!
It's a cowgirl!
Nope, it's just Brooklyn.
I love how these pictures turned out. Of course, I had to let her pick out her clothes for the pictures so I'd have an accurate memory of her four-year-old self. And the pink boots - well, they were a given.
Adorable! I love that you let her pick- it really shows more personality!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Her personality just shines right through!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are PERFECT! I completely thought that was a real outfit :) Maybe Brooklyn is just ahead of the curve when it comes to fashion!
ReplyDeleteShe's a doll!
ReplyDeleteShe is too stinkin' cute!! She actually coordinated that outfit very well. It's perfect.

ReplyDeleteOMG, that is about the cutest thing I have seen in a long time. The girl has got some style.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! My daughter was given some pink cowgirl boots for Christmas from Grandpa and she never took them off. Ever.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are adorable!
How cute! Gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteAnd how great she cooperated for the photographer.
If this were a fb status update, I would definitely click "like!"
ReplyDeleteLove them! Especially the one of the boots. Great way to remember her personality. I'm a litlle jealous I never thought of doing something like this.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwww.....
ReplyDeleteYou bought 3 different sizes of those boots, didn't you? Hope she outgrows the infatuation before she outgrows the size!

ReplyDeleteHey, my 3 year old, Leila, has those exact same boots!
ReplyDeleteSooo cute! And you are right, the pink boots were a given! If I had to imagine what she looks like at any time, she would be wearing the boots.
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful!!! Great pictures!!!
ReplyDeletethey are adorable. today it was cold. a tad warm but got colder and colder. my son (2.5) insisted on wearing a white tshirt with mickey on it, a pair of shorts with alvin and the chipmunks (yeah some kids won't let their kids be walking ads...not me) and sandals. he refused a jacket. and wouldn't believe me that he was going to be cold.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, I LOVE the boots!
ReplyDeleteSo have you done this for all your kids with all their birthdays if so until what age? Sso question?
ReplyDeleteOh what a cutie! These are amazing!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute
ReplyDeleteI love it! You are a awesome mom dawn!
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome little outfit! She's a real fashionista.
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely adorable. Where did you have the pictures done at?
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable! They took some great shots of her!
ReplyDeleteawwww! she looks adorable! my oldest son wore a pair of red cowboy boots that I got at a garage sale everyday for a year when he was 3. in Florida. boy were those some stinky boots by the time he outgrew them. but it was the best $2 I ever spent for the amount of joy he got out of them!
ReplyDeleteLove these pictures Dawn! She is just adorable.
ReplyDeleteShe is so darn cute!!!! I can't wait to have little ones of my own some day......
ReplyDeleteOh, Dawn, these pics are just awesome.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing them. Beautiful!!
What cute and priceless pictures Dawn! You will cherish them forever :) Kristine in Michigan.
ReplyDeleteToo cute, and getting so grown up. Does she dance to "boot scootin baby?"
ReplyDeleteADORABLE! I love capturing our little ones in photos...I have finally come to realize (with number 4 that it isn't about perfection with the picture but capturing their personality like you said). My two year old just had his pics. taken with his cowboy boots and a sucker with a pocket full of M & Ms. That is him to a T!
ReplyDeleteShe is too cute! :D
ReplyDeleteBrooklyn looks adorable! She's given me an idea on how to dress my 15 month old for her upcoming shoot. I can't let her dress herself yet, someday though!
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes!

That picture collage is so perfect, Dawn!
ReplyDeleteThere's cute, there's really cute, and then there's this. I don't even have a word for how utterly adorable Brooklyn is!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had done this when my guys were littler. We went through a whole summer where my now 10 year old would wear nothing but a T-shirt, a diaper, and rubber rain boots from Target. Yep. Those boots smelled lovely by the time August rolled around. I wish I had a picture of that!!!
This is priceless!!!!!

Great picture, and I love how you did her hair. Does she like having her picture taken? Coz those pictures look too nice, seems she had alot of fun
ReplyDeleteYour Brooklyn and my Emma Claire must be kindred spirits. They are SOOO on the same wavelength with those pink boots!
ReplyDeleteJust darling! Makes me smile when I remember back to when my daughter was that age and dressed herself in a similar fashion. I can remember my mother having a fit but I always held firm that it was my daughter's right to express herself. She dresses "normal" now but I miss the "special" outfits!
ReplyDeleteVery nice pictures. She's adorable!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are wonderful!!! She is soooooo cute!
