  1. Oh I'm sure that's the reason... If only you could invent the 16 minute cooking turkey though. Could you imagine the money you'd make off that one? ;)

  5. You must cut it into thousands of tiny pieces so it'll cook in 16 minutes!

  6. Sorry I haven't been checking your review blog lately, but I thought you were going to consolidate your two blogs into one after seeing the results of your reader survey a few months ago?

  9. The one time I've ever cooked a roast chicken (never tried to cook turkey) I'd heard that putting a really hot whole lemon in the cavity helps to speed up the cooking process while giving the chicken more flavour.
Unforunately for me, my then 7 year old monster was watching me try and jam a freaking hot lemon in the chicken.
Imagine my mortification when I opened one of her school books yesterday (her last day of grade 3) to read... 'Mum shuved a lemon up the chicken's bum!'
Yes, there are really good reasons why I don't host holiday celebrations.

  10. Can you tell me what kind of flooring is in the kids rooms and where you got it? We are looking for something similar and I'm having a hard time finding anything!

  11. That's so cute. My 5 year old was asked the same thing in his class for me to write down. He said to bake it at 500 degrees for 3 minutes. He was going to season it with chicken, fruit, and wanted to put a "bone inside it" (because on a chicken there's a bone so the turkey needed one, too). Love this age!

  15. My son had the same assignment at school. His answer. My mom cooked a turkey, she doesn't know how, but you put it in the oven I guess. Nice huh?
