It's almost Halloween. That means it's time to pull out the orange plastic pumpkins. Time to come up with costumes for the kiddos. And here in Chicagoland, that means finding a costume that's big enough to fit over a winter coat and gloves. It's time to stock up on Halloween candy. Wait, actually, it's not quite time to buy candy. You don't buy candy until the 30th or 31th or it will vanish and will materialize on your hips way before Halloween. You also need to make sure you have a supply of SafetyTats on hand.
If you don't know what Safety Tats are, you should! They're skin-safe temporary tattoos that are applied to your child's arm. You personalize them with your cell phone number and if your little ones are ever separated from you, you're just a phone call away. What peace of mind!
I use these on my little kids whenever we're out in crowded places. I had them on the youngest 3 kids the entire time we were in St. Louis a couple weeks ago - the arch, the museums, the zoo.
Imagine a night where your children roam in the dark, knock on strangers’ doors, and wear clothes that disguise their identity, among dozens of other children. And suddenly, you’ve misplaced them because all of the children look the same. Sound like a nightmare? No, in fact, it’s just Halloween. This likely scenario is rarely considered because parents are too busy feeding their child a healthy dinner and filling up candy bowls. With kids in costume, it is all too common to lose a child. But finally, parents have their own Halloween treat—temporary safety tattoos for their children that offer special Halloween-themed designs. Place your Halloween SafetyTat Child ID Tattoo order by October 22nd to receive them before Halloween. After the 22nd, you have until October 27th to order your tattoos with EXPRESS Mail shipping to safely arrive in time. Happy Haunting!
And just for my readers, you can receive 10% off your order when you use coupon code M2M6P09 between now and October 31! Not only that, but leave me a comment here for a chance to win one of four 15-packs of Safety Tats! Want more chances to win? Become a fan of Safety Tats on Facebook HERE for another entry into the drawing! I'll choose 4 random winners on Friday. Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI'd love to win some Safety Tats for my 2 boys!
ReplyDeleteI have thinking about buying these for some time now and our upcoming Thanksgiving trip to NYC is the perfect reason. I would love to win some though!! Pick me random integer generator!
ReplyDeleteI love those!!! I'm usually hitting up my mom for some hospital ID bands that I write on with perm marker. My kids think it's the norm when we go to busy places.
ReplyDeleteI tried to become a fan, but it won't work. :( The page freezes up.
ReplyDeleteNicole is a bit old for those but I sure would have loved them when she was younger!
ReplyDeleteLoosing my children is one my greatest fears as a mother. When we went to the state fair this year, they had safety wrist bands for the kids. I loved it!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try the safety tats out. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWe've just changed our phone number and my son is having trouble remembering the new one. This would be perfect for him on Halloween. Thank you for the offer.

Wow- what a cool idea!
ReplyDeleteHey! I would love this! My daughter is 4 and she is learning her address, parent's names, etc. but phone numbers...well, let's just say she is more likely to call China than one of us.:)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
What a great idea!!! I have two small ones at home, I love the thought of using them not only at Halloween, but places such as the zoo.
ReplyDeleteDana

Never thought about that kind of scenario - all the kids look the same on Halloween! Great time to use safety tats! Thanks for the heads up Dawn!
ReplyDeleteThese would be great for my kids! I've looked into them before and they are a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of when I was a kid growing up in upstate NY. We used to get SO upset because we had to try to fit our cool costumes over our snow suit. We would protest, but once we were freezing, we eventually ended up caving and wearing our coats over top of our costumes instead. Too funny! I like the safety tip too, sounds like a neat idea for a product.
ReplyDeleteOh, I've been wanting to order these. Winning some would be great!
ReplyDeleteI love these! I saw these on your blog (last year?) and immediately bought some for my nephew to use. They have such cute designs. And I love that now you can write your number on them -- great for families who either change their numbers a lot or if you want a sitter/etc. to use one while caring for your child.
ReplyDeleteThese are such a great idea! Thanks for the chance to win.

ReplyDeleteNeat idea, not sure if my boys would let me put one on them, though.
ReplyDeleteI bought Safety Tats to use when we went to Disney last summer. They are great! I love these new halloween ones!! I'd love to win them!! I'm almost out of the ones I bought for Disney so I'm in need of new ones anyway. I use them whenever we go to amusement parks or any crowded places. They are so handy!!

ReplyDeleteGreat idea. Hope you are feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteI remember these from last time you talked about them. I think they are such a great idea! I'd love to win!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win them!
Michele
Awesome!!
ReplyDeleteMy son is autistic & although he's 11 years old I'm not 100% certain he would tell his name, my name or phone # to someone if he was lost. He knows the info but he gets so nervous talking to new people. I really like this idea & hope I win. Thanks
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, thanks!
ReplyDeleteThese would be great for us! My little one is finally walking and this will be our first year actually trick or treating! :D
ReplyDeleteAmanda E.
Please don't take this as an entry into your drawing. I have no need for the tats. I just use a ballpoint pen to write my cell phone number on each arm of each child. I do it everytime we go somewhere big and open and with lots of people. Six Flags, fairs, festivals, aoo, etc. I actually lost two who were together at a local festival this summer and they were taken to the police table. I was on my way there to report them missing when the officer called me.
ReplyDeleteWhy spend money on a tat when you just need a pen?
But don't ever put their name or yours on them. It's too easy for a stranger with bad intentions to use it to trick a child.
what a great idea! i remember you talking about these before and how useful they are.
ReplyDeleteLove these!! Pick me, pick me!!!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant. Such a great idea for my wanderer -- especially on school field trips when I can't be there!
ReplyDeletesafety tats sound like an awesome idea for halloween.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea.....with all our moves it would be perfect. Thanks In Advance for the chance to try them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea! Kids love tats and parents love safety! ;) Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI want some of those!
ReplyDeletei think im definately going to have to stock up on these. my 5yo is always wandering off. just today at marshalls i let go of her hand to grab a jacket off the rack to look at it and she was around the corner before i could blink. she gets spacey and just wanders and it only takes a second before she is gone.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI was going to order a pack for our trip to Disney in 15 days, but FREE is an even better deal!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome!! I think these would be great when we go to Disney next year! I also became a fan on facebook!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I'm going to get some for my brother-in-law. They have a Disney trip planned for March.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea...especially since my son is quite a wanderer in crowds.
ReplyDeleteThanks I'm heading over to order some now!!
ReplyDeleteCan I use a washable marker on my childrens' arms if I don't place my order on time? Just askin'...
ReplyDeletePerfect for my kids on field trips and those indoor playgrounds on winter days!
ReplyDeleteI think these are a great idea!
ReplyDeleteThat's such an awesome idea, Dawn! Thanx for sharing =)
ReplyDeleteToddler twins going seperate directions all the time... I could really use these!!
ReplyDeleteThese are such an awesome idea! We usually use luggage tags pinned to the kids clothes when we go out to amusement parks, fairs or crowded events. But these are even better!
ReplyDeleteWe are heading to Disneyland during the holidays. Yes, we are crazy! It would give me great piece of mind to know my kids had Safety Tattoos on, in case we got separated!
ReplyDeletesafety tats to the rescue!!
ReplyDeleteThis would be great for my three kids!
