From Chicago, the city that has four seasons in one day, it's Sunday Sound Out starring prima ballerina, Dawn Meehan.
OK, so maybe he prima ballerina thing is a slight exaggeration considering the fact that I tripped at Lexi's football game Saturday, falling hard on my knee. I was holding my camera and didn't want to break it so I didn't brace my fall. On the bright side, I saved the camera. On the downside, I broke my kneecap instead. People saw me fall so, of course, I jumped up and acted all cool like it was no big deal. Then I hobbled off and cried. Yep, I'm the classiest person I know.
OK, here are the random winners of the $25 My Sonic giftcards and the $25 DonorsChoose.org giftcards.

So, here are the answers to this week's questions.
White flooring for a boys room? Really?? Are that optimistic that it can stay that way? Of course it is way better than the wood-like flooring. Reminds me of the Wagon Queen Family Truckster
Yeah, but it's industrial strength tile. Marks wipe right up! And gotta love anyone who can quote Vacation!
I love Clayton's stick figure picture. Is that a penis I see hanging down between the legs?!
Uhh, yeah. He has no hands, feet, or hair, but he made sure to include that part. I'm so proud. :::sniff sniff:::
Your house looks too clean and organized compared to normal. Did you get snobby on us and hire a housekeeper? Because a house with kids is supposed to have crap all over the floor and clutter all over the furniture.
LOL!!! A housekeeper! LOL, that's a good one! Did you not see the pictures of all the crap (including a sock stuck to the wall!) behind the bunk beds?
SSO for you. Brooklyn no longer looks like a toddler! I couldn't believe how much the little girl she has looked in the past few pictures. But in the Mickey Mouse pants it looks like Brooklyn has finally decided to train and is out of diapers. Has your life become diaper free for the first time in 15 years? Yes! Did I forget to write about that? The beginning of this summer, she just woke up one day and said she wanted to wear underwear and that was that. I do still put a pull-up on her at night just in case, but more often than not, she wakes up dry. It's the end of an era!
PS. I also HATE throwing up. I'm like Jerry Seinfeld, always striving for the longest "non-vomit streak".
Until the black and white cookie, that is.
You were lucky! When my husband goes for his echo, because of his family history, they use sandpaper to get rid of the hair in certain spots on his chest for the "stickers". LOL! So he has hairless spots on his chest still.
I guess I forgot to mention that part. The doctor had to first rub me down with alcohol, then he used some sort of sandpaper on me as well (I swear I don't have a hairy chest!) before he had to lift my boobs out of the way to apply the stickers. Yeah, that was fun. What do you do in a situation like that? Where do you look? You can't make eye contact because that would just be weird. So you stare at some spot above the doctor's head and pretend he's not putting stickers on your boobs and say something nonchalant like, "So, it's pretty nice weather we're having, huh?" Or maybe you just start babbling like an idiot and say things like, "So, I had a goldfish when I was two. I named him Goldygold. You know, because he was gold. Yep, that was 37 years ago. I have no idea why that just popped into my head. Do you like popcorn? I got to swim with dolphins a couple years ago..." Not that this happened to me or anything. Just sayin'...
Will you be getting your gall bladder checked??
Yes. After I have sufficiently procrastinated long enough.
So Dawn,If you type in "ketchup, Italian dressing and half an onion" into Kraft's web site, will you get a recipe? Just asking.
No, you won't which is why, when you're down to ketchup, Italian dressing and half an onion, it's time to go to the grocery store!
So if you put in Brooklyn's favorites, ketchup, chocolate syrup, and...maybe air?...what should you make for dinner?
That's the beauty of Brooklyn's diet - I don't have to cook!
Hey Dawn! Wondering if you asked them about the artificial dyes they use in their foods or if any other ladies brought it up? I think I read that one of your sons helps control his ADHD via diet, just wondering if anyone asked them about some natural alternatives and dye free products? I would LOVE to be able to give my son Kraft mac n chz but I can't due to the use of food dye in it (we are food dye free here)! I would love it if they would offer some dye free alternatives to some of our favorite products they make! Thanks!
We go back and forth with the all natural diet. Although I like to stick to it, the truth is that it's expensive to buy natural products without all the additives and sometimes our budget just doesn't allow for that.
Kraft does make a product line called Back to Nature. They have cookies, crackers, juice, macaroni & cheese dinners, etc. all without artificial ingredients. And you can search the nutrition information on other Kraft products HERE.
Speaking of Kraft, I have a box FULL of Kraft yumminess to give away to one lucky reader. Take a look at the above picture or visit Kraft's website HERE, then leave me a comment with your favorite Kraft product(s) and/or your favorite Kraft recipe. I'll choose a random winner on Wednesday, September 23. Contest open to US residents.
Oh yeah! And check out my friend, Patti Hill's website HERE! She's got a contest for pet lovers and you can win $100 Petco gift card!
You want me to choose my favorite kraft product? How is that possible? Mac & Cheese is great and canbe the staple of any unhealthy diet! I do add veggies to it and my kids eat it, great way to sneak in some peas and carrots. :)
ReplyDeleteI def. enjoy the Mac and Cheese! Actually, I recieved a case of it for my 21st birthday....hmmmmm......I don't think I have a problem! :)
ReplyDeleteMy family loves Kraft products! We love the Kraft mac & cheese! With 4 kids this is our favorite recipe from kraft. So good! (my kids help make this)
ReplyDeleteCheesy Volcano Meatballs
1. PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Mix meat, cracker crumbs, Parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup of the spaghetti sauce in medium bowl.
2. SHAPE into twelve meatballs, using about 2 Tbsp. meat mixture for each.
3. PLACE 2 inches apart, in shallow baking pan sprayed with cooking spray. Press 1 cheese cube deeply into center of each meatball.
4. BAKE 14 min. or until meatballs are cooked through (160°F). Meanwhile, microwave remaining 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 sec. or until heated through (adult assisted).
5. WASH UP. Making meatballs is hands-on work, so put food safety at the top of your to-do list. Keep things clean by washing your hands before and after this recipe.
OH man I would LOVE to have all those goodies. I have a 9 month old we are starting on table food and I see lots of good stuff to try with her. But as far as my favs- you just can't be a good ole oreo cookie any way you want to serve it up!!!
ReplyDeleteThe shells & cheese are my favorite! My kids favorite is Oreos (of course!) followed by the traditional mac & cheese. Occasionally I mix low-fat browned ground beef into it for a yummy change-up.
ReplyDeleteHow could anyone's favorite Kraft product be anything BUT Kraft Mac N Cheese!?!?! The powder, of course!!!
ReplyDeleteMINT OREOS.
ReplyDeleteI think I could eat a whole box in one sitting. I can only buy them once every few months, because between my husband and I they don't last.
No question about it - Oreos!
ReplyDeleteAli/Il
Favorite Kraft product?? Can I take the kids go to answer and just say everything??? OH - and is all the food missing from my house right now because you took it for that pic (of did the bottomless pits just eat it all again - I swear I went grocery shopping the other day
ReplyDeleteLove the Mac but love the dressings too. Love the cookies...where would we be with no Kraft?
ReplyDeleteRayn
We love the shells and cheese also. It's one of the things I can get my oldest to eat!
ReplyDeleteI'm a kraft cookie junkie. Hence a post about Mallomars:
ReplyDeletehttp://ifevolutionworks.com/mallomars-season/
And Oreos:
http://ifevolutionworks.com/one-question-wednesday/
Sad, huh?
I LOVE Kraftfoods.com !
ReplyDeleteThe Food and Family magazine is also wonderful.
There are a TON of recipes, and I've found some great ideas that have become favorites.
My favorite Kraft product: Fat Free Ranch....it actually tastes like ranch!
Oh, Oh, I'd use them all. My very favorite is the Golden Oreos. Although my 3 preschoolers request the Mac N Cheese everyday.
ReplyDeleteOreos are my favorite of course!
ReplyDeleteHmm a favorite I think I have to go with double stuffed oreo's. Which might be how I currently have added a few pounds.
ReplyDeletelow fat wheat thins is my favorite. They help with the crunch cravings and help me to stick to my diet. But ask my kids and it's the mac and cheese. We have velvetta and shells in the quick cook cup and of course the box kind.
ReplyDeleteYeah I got listed for the SSO (Wagon Queen Family Truckster reference). HMMMM..... favorite Kraft recipe for my kids would be anything that includes either Mac & Cheese or grated Parm. Always looks like it just snowed indoors on Parm cheese nights. My favorite Kraft product is fudge covered oreos that come out at the holidays. I hide the box so they are ALL MINE!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna have to go with Oreos and mac n' cheese. Is it bad if that's all you eat for dinner? hah
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I am generally happy with all of Kraft's products, but my favorite is probably Crystal Light. We drink alot of it here!
ReplyDeleteKristi McDaniel

First, may I say OUCH? I mean, really broke the knee? I'm so sorry. I suffer from the same amount of grace that you do. Geeze.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I'm laughing. Apparently there were Oreos in the Kraft picture, but I went straight for the Crackerfuls (Four cheese, please.) I'm not a fan of Oreos, but my daughter would eat them exclusively for every meal until they would be gone. Actually, I'm more of a Chips Ahoy! girl, but I would love, love anything in the magical box. Packin' a school lunch. Anything helps!
Feel better soon!
Oreos! They are the best meal for a breast feeding mama on the go!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the mac and cheese. We also use their shredded cheeses. What can I say, dinner in our house doesn't fly without cheese.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry but nothing can top Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. Nothing. Ever.
ReplyDeleteYep, gotta be the Oreos.
ReplyDeleteWe all LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all Kraft Products!
ReplyDeleteI bought the Oreo sticks recently and they were pretty good. The best part was that my husband didn't like them; more for me! Did I mention that I'm 9 months pregnant and anything with chocolate sounds pretty good.
ReplyDeleteFudge-covered mint oreos. Mmmmm...or Velveeta.
ReplyDeleteMy youngest child is nicknamed Mac, and as he refuses to answer to his full name, Mac he will remain. When he turned 4, we worked SO hard to get him to recognize, and then write his name. The recognize went pretty well, the write...not so much. When he found Easy Mac at the store, he was completely fascinated to see HIS name on his favorite food! So, I did what all good moms would do. I bribed him. Learn to write Mac, I will buy you Easy Mac. Success!
ReplyDeletePS-He also learned to write Easy, but we won't worry about that, right?
My fave are the american cheese slices for grilled cheese sandwhiches.
ReplyDeleteNo research needed. Lucky Charms, hands down.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is without question their Chocolate Mint Oreos. They are delicious!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to pick just ONE?! Is that really even possible? My kids can't live without Mac and Cheese...and Capri Suns...and Ranch dressing. And, their Mama's must-haves include Crystal Light single serve packets, Oreos and Viennese Chocolate Cafe instant coffee mix (though I have the hardest time finding that particular variety...). :) Looks like you struck the mother load with all those goodies!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, and favorite Kraft recipe is the easy meatloaf made with the barbecue sauce. My kids gobble it up with no complaints (which is a miracle!).
Triscuits! Even though they say Nabisco, the parent company is Kraft. And of course Double Stuff Oreos are another favorite. My youngest loves the spiral mac and cheese.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Kraft product is one I believe they don't make anymore. I dated a guy who worked at Kraft for awhile, and he brought home a container of the mac & cheese powder. I doubled (or more?) every cheese in the mac & cheese until it ran out... but I think they stopped making it. That totally rocked.
ReplyDeleteAside from that, I think I have to go with hmmm oooo they make a GREAT bacon vinaigrette!
I use so many KRAFT products hard to pick one but I guess it would be Oreos.
ReplyDeleteReally hard to narrow down 1 favorite Kraft food ;)
ReplyDeleteMy kids live on Mac N Cheese, and if he could my husband would live on Oreos ;0)
my favorite KRAFT product are Halloween Oreos. My favorite cookies, tinted my favorite color! Yum!
ReplyDeletedefinitely mac n cheese!
ReplyDeleteKraft easy mac and cheese for me please! Why? Because it's so easy and cheesy..just like me :) Actually kraft makes wonderful products and I love so many of them, it's really hard to just pick one.
ReplyDeleteOMG! the cookies!
ReplyDeleteoooo....the dark chocolate forest planter's treat in the picture sounds yummy. If I don't win, I might need to go out and buy some. KRAFT makes so many easy to use products. Stephanie
ReplyDeleteI'm such a sucker for double-stuf Oreos!!! Is there anything better in life? Of course, you have to have them with milk...does that count as a healthy snack?
ReplyDeleteI love the Mac & cheese too...decided I might as well get used to it since I'm around kids all the time ;)
ReplyDeleteSo I have learned from my weight watchers leader how to make a yummy 2 point Margarita. It contains:
ReplyDelete-1 single serve Crystal Light pouch
-1.5 Oz. Tequila
- 1 can Diet Mt Dew
Other than that my girls love Oreo's and Mac and cheese.
Love the mac & cheese!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Kraft food is their international coffees. I love that every morning I can get up and have a different flavor, from vanilla to chi. Plus, it saves so much money when I make my morning coffee at home vs. going to my local coffee house.
ReplyDeleteI also like that Kraft has such a wide variety of foods to choose from. And the Kraft name has been around for so long that it's a household name.
Rebecca M.
Double stuff Oreos are my favorite Kraft product, but I also love Kraft Mac and Cheese for it's taste and versatility.
ReplyDeleteOreos. Need I say anything more?
ReplyDeleteOreos for sure!!!!
ReplyDeletemmmmm...Kraft Mac & Cheese. The only real mac & cheese. I can cook anything that any fancy chef could, but I have such a soft spot for the Blue Box. My husband and I used to have date night with two boxes of Kraft Mac & cheese (one for each of us) and a movie.
ReplyDeleteNow that I have a kid who likes Kraft, I have more excuses to eat it!
Oreos! My son would vote for the mac-n-cheese. Nothing else compares!
ReplyDeleteI have to say I am partial to Oreos....kind of a childhood memory, but the kids love mac n cheese.
ReplyDeleteSherry from Siloam Springs
My favorite Kraft product? Geez I can't pick one. Prob the mac n cheese? it's my go-to when I don't know what to feed the hungry kiddos.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know Capri Suns were a Kraft product! We love those, they are super convenient and easy to keep in the car in case of emergency thirst. :)
ReplyDeleteAmanda E.
My family practically lives on kraft macaroni and cheese sometimes! My youngest son, who is a year and a half old would eat it every day for lunch, if I wasn't so keen on offering him other things as well! LOL
ReplyDeleteI love love oreo dunked in a cold glass of milk of course.
ReplyDeleteHands down the blue box of Kraft Mac N' Cheese! It's the best. Add a small dallop of ketchup and YUMMERS!! Perfect comfort food!!
ReplyDeleteFavorite Kraft Recipe, hands down, is their Easy Pleasin' Meat Loaves. My husband likes this meatloaf better than any other. INCLUDING HIS MOTHER'S!!!!! I like it because you can really change the flavor by changing the BBQ sauce you use. I also use BBQ sauce in place of the water for even more flavor!
ReplyDeleteHere's a link!
http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/easy-pleasing-meat-loaves-54007.aspx
I could live on Triscuit crackers topped with Easy Cheese. It's my guilty snack secret and the main reason I try to avoid the cracker aisle.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Kraft product is any of their cheese. I love the 4 cheese blend. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteKraft Mac & Cheese is number one in our house - they won't eat any other, even homemade!!
ReplyDeletePersonally, I have a thing for the O
Oreo sticks because I can sneak them and sometimes eat them without my kids seeing and wanting some, although the rest of the family would prefer good old Double Stuffed any day of the week!
Melissa K
Ikay.. gotta go with the mac and cheese, it just takes me back to being a kid and it's my kids favorite :)
ReplyDeleteMmmm mac and cheese in the blue box. I prefer it to homemade.
ReplyDeleteOOOH Pick me, I never win any of your give aways and I really want this one, lol.
ReplyDeleteFavorite Kraft food....so hard to pick just one, but I have to go with the mac & cheese
Mac and Cheese would win hands down in this house. My five year old picks hot dogs in mac and cheese whenever he gets to pick whats for dinner....
ReplyDeleteSince Kraft seems to have cornered the market on junk food, I've got to go with Oreos and Planters. Sugar and salt, the PMS diet! I'm post-menopausal, but I still get those old cravings.
ReplyDeletehow can I possibly choose just one fav. Kraft item? We love em all. The pantry always has mac and cheese in it for a quick lunch ( I add peas and a can of tuna). the ccokies are awesome. the peanuts always seem to be the first to disappear.
ReplyDeleteDouble stuff oreos with milk- enuf said.
ReplyDeleteI love many Kraft products, but MINT OREOS have to be my favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteLove Capri Sun! (Oreos too)
ReplyDeleteLinda
My favorite is chocolate/chocolate oreos. Second favorite is double stuff oreos. See a trend here?
ReplyDeleteChris in PA
To be honest . . I love me some double-stuff Oreos. They are yummy :) And as for my favorite Kraft recipe, it is this one:
ReplyDeleteChicken Nacho Bake
4-6 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup Salsa
1/4 cup Sour Cream
1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips
1/2 cup Shredded Cheese
PREHEAT oven to 400ºF. Place chicken on foil-covered baking sheet. Slice three cuts on top of each chicken breast with sharp knife.
TOP each chicken breast evenly with salsa, sour cream and tortilla chips.
BAKE 20 min. Remove from oven; sprinkle with cheese. Bake an additional 10 min. or until chicken is cooked through (165ºF).
This is such a great recipe because it's easy, uses ingredient I always have on hand and my kids LOVE it. Can't beat that!
My favorite Kraft food has got to be the vanilla oreos. But if you pair them with the Vanilla cappuccino made with milk of course THEN you have an amazing breakfast. Now I just have to convince my kids that daddy ate all the oreas this morning before they were up!
ReplyDeleteMac and cheese has to be our favorite, but the mint oreos are a close second!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of the good old standby mac and cheese, but my favorite is probably some of their dressings or maybe Oreos.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite have to be the Oreos... The chocolate covered ones. But I can only buy them every couple of months or so, because the box disappears in 2-3 days. My kids would probably say the mac and cheese though.
ReplyDeletenot a recipe, but a favorite Kraft product memory.....
ReplyDeletemy oldest son loves Oreos. so does my husband. when our son was about 3, he figured out where my husband was safely storing/hiding the Oreos. at some point, he opened up every single cookie and ate the cream filling, then stuck the cookies back together, and placed them back inside the cookie container. later that night, my husband had his giant cup of milk and grabbed the cookies for his late night snack. he was very mad at me for not buying Kraft and getting "those cheap immitation Oreos". I had no idea what he was talking about until he showed me all of the cookies, all licked and smashed together! lol the moral of this story? he found a better hiding spot.
It's gotta be the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. My kids like when I spice it up with some onion powder....mmmmmm!
ReplyDeleteOreos. Definitely oreos. My hubby is currently deployed, but we make time once a week to sit down and eat oreos and milk "together" over the phone. I think we'll keep the "tradition" forfuture deployments... it will be great for the kids, too.
ReplyDeleteOh my. I'd have to say oreos. Or mac and cheese. or ritz crackers! OH, I know! ritz crackers with mac and cheese with oreos for dessert!
ReplyDelete:D
Favorite Kraft product in our house is probably ranch dressing. My 5 yr old grandson eats it on everything - usally with honey mustard and ketchup mixed in for extra flavor. Looks gross but he loves it.
ReplyDeleteThey make a deli style sliced cheese made with 2% milk- I swear its been on every grocery list I've made in the past 5 years. Whenever I try to substitute, my oldest son grumbles & goes on a cheese strike.
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love the Blue Box? I ate it as a child with hot dogs. Now my boys it eat too.
ReplyDeleteOf course, there is also Oreos. I prefer double stuffed. Take two double stuffs apart and put them together for quadruple stuffed goodness.
It has to be Mac and Cheese. It's the first thing I learned to cook, and the first thing I ever let my daughter cook by herself!
ReplyDeleteHmm ... there are so many yummy Kraft products that it's hard to choose. But if I took a vote in my household, they're favorite would have to be OREOs. Although the 100% juice Capri Suns are probably what we purchase most often!
ReplyDeleteWe love so many Kraft products, but our top two is probably the reduced fat Kraft Ranch and Mac and Cheese.
ReplyDeleteChoose one?? We love the Mac and cheese, but Oreos are also a favorite. Kraft Ranch dressing is the only kind I buy. The new Crackerfuls are good too!
ReplyDeleteJill
I made an oreo pie from there that was fantastic. It's my go to potluck offering.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't possibly pick just one fav...No way!!
ReplyDeletewe love so many things that are from Kraft. of course mac and cheese is a huge hit in my house with me having 3 daughters ages 4, 3 and 1 1/2. Those little girls can eat a box between them and sometimes they still want more. LOL
ReplyDeletemichael dot tackitt at gmail dot com
Well I was going to say that my favorite Kraft product is their spiral macaroni and cheese (what makes the spirals so much better than the macaroni noodles?!) but now I see they make Chips Ahoy, Oreos, and Planters nuts as well???
ReplyDeleteMy decision just got a lot harder. But I think I'll have to stick with the spiral noodle-y goodness.
I know this is going to sound stupid to those people who actually do real cooking but MacnCheez is just a staple that you can't beat. I heart Kraft mac n cheez.
ReplyDeleteA favorite? That's hard! Mac & cheese is a staple in the house - gotta have it for tuna delight! I have my son addicted to milk dunked Oreos! Love the fat free dressings - also a staple in the house.
ReplyDeleteI love the "blue box" mac and cheese ~ wouldn't have made it thru my 20's without having it at least 3 times a week. However, I must say the double-stuff Oreos are at the top of my list! Have you ever taken two double-stuff, removed one cracker on each, then put the cream halves together to make a quadruple-stuff Oreo?!! Now, that's a cookie! I don't think they're available in the 100-calorie packs, though...
ReplyDeleteWe love the mac n cheese. The new Crackerfuls are really good too.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the Ritz mini peanut butter crackers. Love them!
ReplyDeleteI am going to say it's a tie between Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and Oreo cookies. We love Kraft!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Kraft product has got to be Mac & Cheese I think of my kids could live off the stuff...Hey so could I :) LOL
ReplyDeleteI would have to go with oreos as my favorite. I don't get them very often, but I love them
ReplyDeleteMac and cheese from Kraft is the BEST. I am loving the double stuffed golden Oreos right now too.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Claussen pickles!
ReplyDeleteWow, I didn't realize we liked so many Kraft products. I guess Oreos are our family's fave, but I would love to try those little fudgy Chips Ahoy things in the picture. Congratulations on being diaper free. We are still in the training phase here.
ReplyDeleteOur family favorite is shells & cheese!
ReplyDeleteFavorite Kraft product in that pic? Def. Golden Oreos. Give me a gallon of milk and I can eat the entire package. Ooooooh, they're good!
ReplyDeleteI love Kraft Italian dressing and chicken in the crockpot. I use the chicken in salads or put the chicken over whole grain brown rice. My girls love it.
ReplyDeleteJulie Long
Omg i love love love love (did i mention LOOOOVE)kraft! My fav Kraft products are the ranch dressing and cheese!I coule live a lifetime on those 2 things..lol.
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm going with Chips Ahoy. ;-) I am interested in checking out the Back to Nature line - like you, I try to keep healthier stuff around, but sometimes we can't.
ReplyDeleteMac and Cheese, for sure. We have several recipes that use it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite used to be Oreo - hands down. But since I got pregnant with my 4th child I craved Mac and Cheese and ONLY Kraft. So I guess Oreo's and Mac and Cheese are tied!
ReplyDelete100-calorie packs. I'm so diet conscious, and these are great.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in college I lived on easy mac. And now I still make hot dogs and mac n' cheese for dinner at least once a month. My husband adds red pepper flakes to make it spicy.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is probably the mint oreos...they are dangerously good!!
ReplyDeleteBecky
Wow, pick a favorite??? I would have to say EVERYTHING!! :) I have been getting the Kraft Food and Family magazine for a few years now. I love getting the recipes. I love the new Budget Wise section on their website. They have really cute ideas for kids on the site as well.
ReplyDeleteAs far as a favorite recipe, I don't have one. But this one looks really good, and simple too!!!
http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/cheesy-chicken-italiano-57271.aspx
Mac n cheese - definately... but only when my husband makes it. It doesnt come out the same when I do.
ReplyDeleteDouble stuff oreos are the absolute best!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Kraft product has always been and will always be the original Chips Ahoy cookies. With ice-cold white milk to dunk them in. Yummy, yum, yum, yum. Ok, now I gotta go find some Chips Ahoy and milk...
ReplyDeleteI love mac & cheese. So easy and so yummy.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm.....I think it's a toss up between mac and cheese and oreos! I love both of them! I'd love some Kraft goodies!! My kids live on Capri Sun juice boxes! I pack one every day in my son's lunch. It's just easy.
ReplyDeleteOreos. Hands down.
ReplyDeleteHow can you go wrong with a cream filled cookie that is perfect for dunking!
O-R-E-O with all that yummy goodness in the middle is my most favoritest cookie of all time!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite recipe, which we had last night btw, is to cook some mac and cheese. Saute some hot dogs and add to it. Add some peas, and dinner is done. Very simple, but great. And only kraft mac and cheese tastes right.
ReplyDeleteHi Dawn,
ReplyDeleteI make this awesome stir fry with Kraft's Barbeque Shake n Bake. I got the recipe on their website and it's called Quick Oven Stir Fry. You just cut up chicken into small bite sized pieces and coat them with the Barbeque Shake n Bake. Line a 9x13 pan with foil and add frozen stir fry veggies then top with the coated chicken. Sprinkle the rest of the Shake n Bake over the 9x13. Cook on 375 for about 30 minutes (or until chicken is done), then serve over rice. Sounds weird, but it's YUMMY!
I love Kraft Mac and Cheese. It gets me through college!
ReplyDeleteOh, oh, did someone say free food? And I don't have to lug the kids in & out of the car for the Sam's Club samples, or catch the regergitated sweet & sour chicken rice sample in my hand when the 3 yr. old decides he doesn't like it. Count me in. I would have to say the ranch dressing or BBQ sauce is my favorite, it gets my kids to eat about any meat & sometimes some vegetables they usually refuse to try.
ReplyDeleteMy Kraft fav: of course, the original mac n cheese. But wait, I sure do like Oreo's, and Chips Ahoy. And Velvetta, who could forget the Velvetta. Hmmm, I think they all may be my favorites;)
ReplyDeleteWow! What an awesome Blog! Hmmm, my fave Kraft Product would have to be Roasted Red Pepper Salad Dressing. It is awesome for marinading any sort of meat!
ReplyDeleteNot trying to stuff the ballot on the free Kraft stuff, but I do just did a stress test. It's so weird you had one before me, I was checking your blog repeatedly thru-out the day to see what you had to say about it. I was really dreading the running on treadmill w/o a bra thing, because, man, I got some honkers, however, at mine I got to wear my bra. YEAH. The sandpaper scratching the skin & then the removal of all the dang stickers hurt the worse!
ReplyDeleteThe new vanilla double stuffed oreos are totally addicting!
ReplyDeleteWhat to choose? What to choose? Hmmm...Double Stuffed Oreo's? Blue box mac 'n cheese? Oreo's? Mac 'n cheese? Can someone please come up with a recipe that uses both? I could live on that for days!!
ReplyDelete-Beth in MI
Lets see, a favorite...how can I pick? We have at least half of the things in that picture in our pantry! My favorite treat is fudge mint oreos. I'm generally not a fan, but those are YUMMY!
ReplyDeleteOreos and mac & cheese in our house! The two staples on my grocery list. These are actually the two foods my husband could live on. My daughter will eat anything. My husband does not let a vegetable pass his lips.
ReplyDeleteI have to say Oreo's are most eaten here, but I really love the Deluxe Mac and Cheese... It's so good with hot dogs.
ReplyDeleteaccording to my MIL, my husband lived off of mac n cheese through college.
ReplyDeletehe says he didn't, but it IS one his favorite foods!!
how could mac n cheese NOT be in anyone that has kids, home?
Kraft Mac & Cheese is the BEST! I have eaten it since I was a little girl and still love it now. It is a wonderful comfort food and I like how I can spice it up once in a while with just adding some meat or veggies. LOVE IT! :)
ReplyDeleteOreo anything.
ReplyDeleteI love the mac & cheese in the bowls (microwave). So easy for the mornings I've forgotten to plan ahead & get something ready for my son's lunch.
ReplyDeleteOnly one favorite?! Are you kidding?! I'm a mom to 6 and we all love so many, like Velveeta shells and cheese, Ritz crackers, Capri Suns, Oreos and Chips Ahoy. I guess I'd have to stick with the cookies for the chocolate factor if I must choose a favorite. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, mac and cheese is always going to be my favorite! We love to cook and no kids yet, but we always have a ton of it from BJs (like Sams or Costco) in the pantry, so it's a great option when we're getting home after a 16 hour day and just can't make anything else. I just went back to graduate school, too, which is a HUGE change, and I've restocked on the Easy Mac!
ReplyDeleteWe love the 100% Juice Capri Suns in this house! They make great ice packs when we go out for the day and by lunch they are thawed but cold making the perfect drink for my boys.
ReplyDeleteMmmmmmm...KRAFT!!
ReplyDeleteLet's see...I like the oreos - plain ones, chocolate ones, chocolate covered mint - yummy! And of course Mac & Cheese - super yummy if tuna or rotisserie chicken is added to it! The dressings are good too! Velveeta Shells & Cheese....So much more, too much to list! Now I'm hungry! Thanks Dawn!
I love all of thier cheeses! And I would love to win a box of Kraft food.
ReplyDeleteWhich single Kraft product...hmmm too many to choose. I say Oreos if I have to pick one.
ReplyDeleteDonna H.
Have you tried those 'Crackerfuls' yet? They are awesome. My daughter brings them to kidergarten for her snack 2x each week!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say my favorites are Kraft Dinner Extra Creamy and Oreos. I could probably pick a whole bunch more, but I'll stick with those two.
ReplyDeletespiral macaroni & cheese please! it's my favorite.
ReplyDeleteGotta be Oreos! My grandma used to make a dessert that is by far THE family favorite for all generations, and is requested at every family get-together.
ReplyDeleteCrush one large package of Oreos. Spread 3/4 of them in the bottom and up the sides of a 9x13 glass baking dish. Soften one quart of vanilla ice cream, and stir in 3 mashed bananas. Pour the ice cream/banana mixture over the crushed Oreos. Sprinkle with the remainder of the crushed Oreos and freeze until hard. (Will take possibly 1/2 a day or more.) Cut into squares and serve. YUMMY!!!
Kid's choice - Mac N Cheese
ReplyDeleteMy choice - oreos!!
My favorite is Oreo's...If you ask my youngest son, he'd definitely say Mac and Cheese, though! Thanks for a chance at winning!
ReplyDeleteMac N Cheese, dude!
ReplyDeleteMy son loves mac and cheese...it is a staple in our house.
ReplyDeleteMy kids would say Oreos and I would say shells and cheese. Who am I kidding, OREOS!!! :)
ReplyDeleteFirst things first, I hope you didn't really break your knee. I'm about that graceful, too, though, so completely understand. And, I'd save my camera before breaking my fall, too. :)
ReplyDeleteSecond, my favorite KRAFT product is well ... anything that's food. I'm not all that picky when it comes to food, really. I do, however, buy Mac & Cheese and Oreos by the case, so those two would probably have to be the actual favorites in my house.
:)
I have wayyyy too many kraft favorites! Oreos, wheat thins, capri sun roarin waters, and the mac and cheese and just a few! Pick me please!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Oreos. Love 'em!
ReplyDeleteThere is no way that I could name my fav Kraft product, there are so many!!!! I guess that I would have to say that I'm in love with their new flat bread wheat thins, and their golden oreos!!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Back to Nature products. We buy them all the time. And I'm always up for some yummy mac n cheese!
ReplyDeleteMy husband loves oreos. I mean, I'll buy a box, bring it home from the grocery store, put them in the cupboard, then go into the pantry to find one after my daughter has gone to bed and they're all gone. Any chance of you sending those Kraft goodies my way so I can try to find a better hiding spot?
ReplyDeleteAnother Mac 'N Cheese fan here - my kids would eat it every day if I let them. When I was a kid myself my mom would make a box of this, add in a can of cream of mushroom soup, some tuna and a can of peas (drained) for some quick and easy tuna casserole - not really a casserole, but I didn't learn this until much later - comfort food at its finest! YUM!
ReplyDeleteLove Chips Ahoy, but haven't had them in a long, long time!
ReplyDeleteOreos, hands down....yum, yum, yum.....my favorite treat to stash and eat and not share!!!
ReplyDeletemy favorite is still what it was when i was a kid, kraft mac and cheese. though my little bro made some awesome oreo truffles last weekend, yummy!
ReplyDeleteOREOS!!!! YUM!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like Oreo Cakesters, but Mac N Cheese is my favorite. Even at 27. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the velveeta mac and cheese single serving tubs. They are perfect for lunch at work.
ReplyDeleteahhhh...comfort food. Mac and cheese and oreos. The salty and the sweet. WHO doesn't love that!
ReplyDeleteMom to six curtain climbers,
Elizabeth Mayes
I do love Oreos, mac 'n' cheese is a kid favorite. But, what I really love is that Capri Sun has a 100% juice option.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the new vanilla oreos, much better than the orignal ones.
ReplyDeleteFavorite recipe:
Chop and cook one pound of sausage
One can of rotel
Velveeta cheese
After cooking the sausage, melt the cheese and mix the sausage, cheese, and rotel together and eat with tostios and you can top with sour cream if desired.
You can't beat Kraft Mac & Cheese, although we've cut down on it significanly because of all the artificial stuff that goes in there. I'm glad to know that Kraft is making a natural line, and I'll have to check that out!
ReplyDeleteWe love the mac and cheese, but the oreos are a favorite too. We can't tolerate the generic of either one...Kraft snobs, I guess. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy 3 favorite Kraft products are Ritz crackers (with spread cheese, yummo!), Oreos, and Mac n Cheese. Dinner of champions right there!
ReplyDeleteOh, where do I begin? Oreos, mac'n cheese, ritz crackers... We love 'em all. In moderation, of course. It would be nice if they were healthier, but their not, so we'll eat them anyway.
ReplyDeleteOreo cookies are a favorite around here. We try to stick to the healthy stuff, but sometimes some of the other sneaks in.
ReplyDeleteKraft Cheese and Macaroni of course!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Oero Fun Stix are the bomb diggity!!!! I love them ALOT!!! on the flip side Wheat Thins are the bestest crackers ever.
ReplyDeleteT. S. Timmons
I love double stuffed oreos
ReplyDeleteDOUBLE STUF OREOS with a tall glass of milk!! Mmmm.... On the other hand, my kids sure do love Mac-n-cheese!
ReplyDeleteOh, by the way, my 3 year old drew Spongebob on his magna doodle and by golly he turned it around to show me and proudly announced, 'Look mommmy, he got a weiner!!' Oh, boys....
The cookies!! Not any specific kind, just all of them..give me them now.
ReplyDeleteWell, I love lots of Kraft products, but CapriSun is a big one in this house.
ReplyDeleteWe are fortunate here, because we have a market twice a week, where the local farmers sell their stuff. It's more expensive up front -- but on the other hand the vegetables and fruits are fresher than in the grocery market, there is less packaging (and thus garbage) you take home, you get to pick the best pieces, support a local farmer, and do something for the environment, etc. I love it! Some other goods, such as milk, I also prefer the more expensive brand, if it's local.
ReplyDeleteBut you are right, the budget just doesn't always allow for the better choice!
My kids love Oreo Cookies by the way, but since they aren't sold in Austria, it's always a special treat when they do get a hold of some.
So long,
Corinna
I love the Grilled Bruschetta Chicken recipe from Kraft. My family of boys won't eat the bruschetta mixture but they still enjoy the chicken. (http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/grilled-bruschetta-chicken-106252.aspx) Also a big fan of Easy Mac. The kids can add the water and put it in the microwave themselves. Great after school snack!
ReplyDeleteOh jeez. I HAVE to go with Chips Ahoy. I mean, seriously- who doesn't love Chips Ahoy cookies?! *drools*
ReplyDeleteI love the Maca n Cheese of course! I also love on the Kraft Website, the 1 bag, 5 Meals. It's awesome! So far my favorite recipes are Cheeseburger Mac, and Sloppy Taco.
ReplyDeleteGolden Oreo lovers in this house. Must eat a pack a week. Is that a bad thing?
ReplyDeleteO-R-E-O! Need I say more?! Great giveaway Dawn!
ReplyDeleteA favorite Kraft product....Are you serious!!!??? I would have to say the Mac and Cheese but almost all of our snacks are from Kraft!! My kids would love this Kraft goodie basket!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!!
Melissa Chase, PA
Well, by checking out the phot and a quick Google search, I found out that Kraft owns Nabisco. I must have skipped over that fascinating news item :-) In which case, that would have to make Oreo's my favorite. If you asked my son, it's shells and cheese (with some keilbasa thrown in) hands down.
ReplyDeleteIs there any better store bought cookie than Oreos? Golden or chocolate, they're only available from our friends at Kraft.
ReplyDeleteOreo Cookies.....Need I say more? Seriously....But Mac N Cheese takes second.
ReplyDeleteMac & Cheese of course! Second would definitely be Oreos! i would love to win! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWe have way too many Kraft favorites. We use lots of them in school lunches....everyday!
ReplyDeletethanks Kraft
My kids went through a phase when they didn't like mac&cheese. Strange, I know. But now I've got at least one of my kids hooked on white cheddar mac&cheese and the others will usually eat it if that's all I'm going to make. Love it!
ReplyDeleteStandard favorite in my house is the blue box, Kraft Macaroni and Cheese! You just can't go wrong with that stuff! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love taking whatever variety of pork I can find on sale, put it in the crockpot and add in a whole lot of Kraft BBQ sauce, turn it on High (or Low if you do this early enough in the day) and...voila BBQ pork for dinner. We shred it and use it to make BBQ pork quesadillas. Yum.
ReplyDeleteOreo cookies.. no, Mac & Cheese... no, the brand new crackers I forgot what they are called. Oh forget it.. too many to think about. I'm gonna go grab some Wheat Thins right now.
ReplyDeleteI love Kraft foods and love their magazine. My family loves Oreos.
