Hello Mom,
If you're reading this, you're probably using a kleenex so your nose is all runny. I'm sorry. Well, I hope you have a good blowing of your nose cause if you don't want to be sick anymore, you need to blow your nose and I'm keeping you company cause you're reading this and it's sort of like me talking to you, so technically I'm talking to you and keeping you company! Hopefully, as you're reading this, it's making you feel better! 8) I LOVE YOU MOMMY!
P.S. Thank you for helping me buy my iPod! Hopefully it gets here soon.
LOL! I LOVE it when my kids do something sweet and unexpected like that. And Savannah has been saving for an iPod for a while. She got some money for her birthday that she put toward her iPod fund. She was a few dollars short, so I kicked in to help her get it. Now she's been anxiously checking the mail for it.
:) I know what you mean. It just makes my day when my girl does things like this.
ReplyDeleteawwww.. how sweet. these are the moments that make being the "mommy" so rewarding. Must be doing something right Dawn!
ReplyDeleteWaddaya know! Being a mom isn't always a thankless job after all. It gives me hope that my little ones will grow to be just as thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteso sweet! You've got a thoughtful young lady on your hands there!
ReplyDeleteAww, that's so nice! (When I first glanced at the title, i thought it said Alcohol!)
ReplyDeleteThat just made my day. So sweet!!! I love to hear sweet stories that kids do!
ReplyDeleteAwww... sweet note!
ReplyDeleteKids are so cute when they are waiting for mail!
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet! Are you gonna keep that Kleenex box forever?
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better, Dawn! Savannah sounds exactly like my daughter!! She would do the same thing on the tissue box! LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteDonna in PA :)
This is so very sweet of her!!
ReplyDeleteMy nearly 6 year old son does this. He has this uncanny ability to just KNOW when I'm the most frustrated with him, and what I'll be digging through when that feeling hits, and he'll have some little "lurv" note buried under what it is that I'm looking through. And he spells it, "I lurv you Momma!" which is just the way he says it! Too cute! I DO hope you'll be saving that tissue box! I know I would!
ReplyDeleteAwww, what a sweetie! Gotta love kids like this. Sorry you've been sick though -- and I hope hope you're feeing better soon. Especially since your preschool is over, right?
ReplyDeleteAnd has your website always been "the official site of ..." or is this new? Are people trying to create fake Dawn sites?
Oh how sweet she is! Glad your feeling better at this point. Still reading your book and laughing my ass off! Loved the buns of pudding comment. I just about choked on my vanilla frappe when I read that this morning!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet note from Savannah! She's got that writer's voice too!
ReplyDeleteOh Dawn -
ReplyDeleteThat note is just the best!... You have SUCH a sweet daughter - Notes like that just validate your parenting even more!
She will LOVE her new Ipod! Did she inscribe it?... free from Apple!...
Christine
I just love those kinds of notes. Hope Savannah has fun with her i-pod soon! happy waiting.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet!! The other day when I had such a bad migraine is making me get sick my 7 year old brought me the "puke pan" and told me I would not have to get up anymore and that when I got sick he would rinse it out for me!!!! That totally made me smile! That and he helped take care of his little brother and sister till their dad got home. The made a get better and better card and brought me each their favorite toy to help me feel better!! It was so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI can't WAIT until my daughter's old enough to do things like that. I hope I raise her well enough that she IS that sweet and caring. :-) Adorables!
ReplyDeleteHope your feeling better!
ReplyDeleteThat's a sweet note :)

Hey Dawn,
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering if your blog visits have increased due to you using short feeds now. (When you only send a paragraph of the post to the feed, and then you have to click on it to read the rest on the blog).
Awe! That is so sweet. I look forward to the day!
ReplyDeleteI had a similar thing, lately!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter uses my Bible for our at-home Bible studies, and last weekend at church I ran across soemthing: a little "love you mom" in the margin. I started crying in church, and actually had to leave so I could wipe my eyes and blow my nose! I flipped through my Bible more carefully and found another "love you mom," as well as a "cool mom!" Those little unexpected love notes touched me so much, as I know Savannah's jots meant so much to you!
being a mom is so crazy--I have some wild boys, too--but aren't we blessed?!
