  2. Awww! Dawn, she's adorable! A self-contained tickish baby! My girls just chase me around yelling "Tickle me, Mama! Tickle me!" all day. I'll have to show them your video so they can learn to do it themselves : )

  7. What a CUTIE PIE!!! I love the little fountain on her head! And why is it that it doesn't work when we tickle ourselves?

  8. Awww, she's absolutally adorable =)

  9. Danw, your kids rock. It's good to hear a mum enjoying the sounds of her kids, no snapping at them to be quiet down. What a doll she is.

  10. I just watched Brooklyn with my boys. We all had a good laugh. Love the Tarzan call in the middle.

  15. Dawn,

How sweet is she???? What a happy, fun little girl!

Thank you for putting a smile on my face (once again). It's been a rainy, windy, cold, dreary day here in PA and a laugh is what I needed!

    God Bless!!

  17. She's so funny!

That girl is an early example of self-help! Bodes well, she'll be a self-care kinda gal.

    CUTE CUTE.

  18. So when are you going to send this in to America's Funniest Home Videos??

I'm only half kidding. You guys could win pretty easily (and who couldn't use a little extra cash?). That was pretty cute and funny.

  19. Thanks for that! I think that my Caleb is totally in love with your little girl; he'll be two at the end of February. He wants to "see baby!" and he keeps tickling her. How do you feel about arranged marriages? ;)

A question for Sunday: Who are your favorite authors?

  23. What a NEAT outfit!??! Where did you find something like that??

  24. The second Brooklyn laughed, my Puckey came RUNNING and practically knocked me out of the chair to see the laughing baby!

  32. I feel like I'm being repetitive, but she's SO cute!

And I love how much hair she has. My 2 1/2 yo (today!) is still wimpy on the hair AND it's shorter than Brooklyn's. I'm so tempted to shave it all off so it will grow in thicker....

    Hope you enjoyed the shoveling!

  33. I do that to myself all the time - only I do it because I've got an itch.

My wife doesn't think that I look nearly so cute when I do it either.

    Go figure.

  35. That was adorable. What a happy girl Brooklyn is! She reminds me of my own youngest who is 22 mos. I *LOVE* this age. I was trying to remember if you've ever said how old Brooklyn is?

  36. I enjoy feeling the love you have for your family through your blog entries.
Being totally entertained by their antics is just an extra

Brooklyn's video put the biggest smile on my face. Her laugher had me giggling like a kid again.
Thanks for sharing this. It helped to start my day off with a ray of sunshine, on an otherwise dreary day.

Errr. Did you notice the bird that embedded himself right up to his tail fathers into the back Brooklyn's head?
His feathers seems to show only when Brooklyn is bent over with laughter.

I'm thinking one good belly laugh will pop him right out!!

  41. Brooklyn is the age that my kids all were when I decided it was time to try for another. Why do they have to be so flippin cute? Probably so we don't want to ship them off when they start playing in the toilet.

  42. SO CUTE! I love it!

When is Brooklyn's birthday? She seems about the age of my little one.

  47. Thanks for sharing...I hardly recognized Brooklyn without some form of body painting! Was that her birthday outfit? BTW, I'll be mailing my packet (for what it's worth...your son already chose Florida!) if the darned snow stops before Spring! Thanks again for the laugh!

She is adorable and your laugh tells us that you are the happiest mommy around.

As a new week begins, who did you want to win the Super Bowl? And did they?

  64. Dawn I love your blog it always puts a smile on my face! I love that you write real life and not a sugar coated version that make other moms feel unadequate! Keep up the great work! I had to reply to your 1st question put the pill in a spoon full of jelly (I like strawberry:) and swallow I could not swallow pills until I was 15 this is how my mom always had me do it! It worked every time! Good Luck! Meg
