Looks like the Tooth Fairy will get to meet up with Santa for some milk and cookies tonight. I think Lex is more excited about her first lost tooth, than she is about Santa coming.
Tis the Season(s) - Tooth Fairy visit tonight here too. Is it something to do with the weather, or children trying to double dip on holiday characters?
My daughter lost a tooth tonight, too! She also lost her very first tooth LAST Christmas Eve. What are the chances? Last year, I told her that Santa was going to make the tooth fairy look bad. Let's see, 4 quarters vs. a pile of toys...
speaking of needing the easter bunny have you seen the book 'how the easter bunny saved christmas'? cute fun look at what happens when santa gets hurt.
Don't you know that the Tooth Fairy and Santa Clause are good friends? My nearly four year old reminded me when I disagreed and he made me watch Disney's The Santa Clause 2 to prove it. ;)
My sister rushed her 8 yr old daughter to the hospital this Christmas morning sure of appendicitis. (Yes, holidays ARE so much more fun in an ER!) Dr. thought so too, & sent her to ER. CT scan said so, they sent her to another hospital for surgery. Surgeons don't think so, think she's extremely constipated! LOL! We'll see by tomorrow!
How cute I love the photos of kids with their gappy ( hmmm is that a word?) smiles. I hope she is feeling better, and that you all enjoy the day It is Boxing day here and I am soooooo over the harmonica that my lovely mother in law gave my 7 yr old son.
I saw your poor table, and wanted to offer this tidbit of experience. When my daughter drew on our coffee table with a sharpie (permanent) marker, it came off easily with rubbing alcohol.
Hi Dawn, This is too funny..I was just thinking about asking you how much the Tooth Fairy give's per tooth at your house? I also was wondering if you save their teeth? I know strange question but I have a baggie full of them. I had to add a kernal of deer field corn to them just for laugh's. Merry Christmas. Kristine in Michigan.
My daughter got a visit from the tooth fairy and santa claus the same night, too. In fact, I think the tooth fairy helped with the milk. Not the cookies though because that has sugar in it and of course is bad for your teeth, or so I told my daughter.
This is an awesome event in the life of a child. I remember when my oldest son found out teeth=money he tried desperately to pull out all his teeth, whether they were lose or not. Took us a while to convince him that it was NOT a good idea.
So what was goin' on Christmas Eve that half the kids in the world seemed to be losing their teeth. My 7 yo decided she'd work on it until it came out. Finally at 9 or so it did and we put it under her pillow. So, I asked my dh to please remind the lil fairy to come. Meanwhile, Santa came, bla, bla, bla and then went to bed. 4:00 in the morning I'm wide=eyed scrambling to find $ and bumping my way to the other side of the house to deliver. So I put the $ under the pillow, can't find the tooth, decide to tuck her in to see if I can get a locale on the tooth and then bam! She's up. Mommy, the tooth fairy came! Great where's the tooth, Oh, it's underneath her, grab it, stick it in my pocket, no, no pocket, panties, that'll work! Okay, honey, go back to sleep, I was up(LOL) and just checking on you! All is well, and no, I didn't get to go back to sleep. Next time, I think I'll just do the guilt $ and deliver another night.
