I am currently staying in a hotel in Dallas but heading back tomorrow to probably no power but must report to work Monday power or not since work has power. The pictures are just as bad as it looks and it is pure craziness down there. I miss the normal everyday and will be glad when its back. Once they got the pumping station working in our subdivision, the water receded. My hubby was able to get out and get to Woodman's about 9:30 last night - only had to get around a couple places on my way to work in Palatine this morning. We didn't have a lot of flooding here in Baton Rouge but the wind damage from Gustav is beyond words. So many people here have trees IN thier homes. I was without power for 8 days.
