They did a surgery on him called a UVP3 (includes tonsillectomy, advancing his hyoid or Adam's apple, and cutting a hole in his chin bone to shorten his tongue)....this was after numerous sinus surgeries...Brutal recovery, but great outcome.<br /><br />I had my tonsils out when I was 43. The packing is the worse. And removing it was worse then delivering my 9 pound son. Hope he is feeling better real quick.
